Hi guys! Just checking in to say I’m still recovering, but I’m going to start to work on BBJ again, even though it might go a bit slow at the beginning. I have to draw on my ancient wacom bamboo instead of my cintiq, deal with the back pain and with my recent move, but I’m dying to work on my comic again every day so I hope everything will go back to normal as soon as possible even though it’s been tough. Cheers!
HI!!! After two years of silence due to annoying health trouble, I'm trying to get back on that webcomic horse.
Better By Jar is a comedy-drama comic based on an ongoing tabletop campaign played by five, Polish queers. Warning for occasional gore and cruelty and loads of TTRPG jokes.

Hello, I started reading your comic recently and I got hooked! I absolutely love it and I can't wait to see how the plot proceeds. Even if it is a little confusing sometimes haha. Keep up the excellent work!
Hi guys! I have a couple news to share with you and I'm curious to hear your opinions about this.
As probably most of you realize, the pages that I published here up till now were all buffer, it's pretty much impossible to make one comic page a day, I'd have to work 'bout 16 hours a day to do that Cx we'll catch up to what I put on the main SIOR site in two weeks. Now, my current update schedule is 1-2 pages a week. When I started working on this chapter I decided to go all out with the color and learn as much as I can about it in the process, and I want to keep it up till the end of ch1 for the sake of visual integrity. The first chapter will have ~250 pages, I hope you'll bear with me until then, with my kinda irregular pace.
Here's what I wanted to discuss: I've been considering switching to batch updates for the 30-40 final pages, because I feel like reading those 1-2 pages per week would be pretty frustrating and unsuitable for what I'm trying to do there. With batch updates I'd update more pages at once every 2 or 3 weeks. It would also definitely be easier for me to update regularly if I worked in batches to prepare the updates. With all that in mind, I want to ask you first if you'd prefer that kind of solution or do you want me to keep updating on a weekly basis!
As for the future plans: When I start working on chapter 2 I want to simplify my color process a bit, so that I'm able to draw the comic more quickly. I have big, long-term plans for this project and I want to do too many things with it for the 2pgs a week pace.
I'm also planning to launch a patreon somewhere this year so that I can keep working on SIOR without having to get a full-time job. The idea is that I'll make all the surplus comic pages available to my patrons for a very low price so that anybody can get them without any problems, and that's gonna be my main thing to offer, since I don't really have time to do much more than the comic itself ;D
@Aim Human Instead of updating 1-2 pages a week Amebes would update basically 4-8 pages a month. /And if that's is easier than you should go with batch updating.
i think batch updating often works better, when i wait for a comic to update i'd always rather get a few pages of completed material at once, otherwise it often drags out. i say go for it :)
Batch updates would be good. I really like the way you're telling the story and hope you can continue. Anything that makes it easier for you to do so is fine by me.
Sounds like a great idea. Having a couple of pages posted together every few weeks seems like great solution for slowing down the updates so you can handle the workload. In this I agree with @New Alphas; Anything that makes it easier for you is fine by me.
*clears throat* Okay so I drew you some fanart... So I'm just gonna drop this here. http://firescribe.deviantart.com/art/Set-It-On-Random-Tony-657960336
