/>o</ Hey folks! I want to do some shout outs \>o<\
THANK YOU jnettel1 for the lovely fishes! They are REALLY pretty =3
I drew a picture of a fish for jnettel1 that she could use in her own art. She draws decorative patterns and mandala art. You can find the picture she made below and if you'd like to see more of her work you can go here: http://www.redbubble.com/people/jhnette/portfolio
THANK YOU Jrej for the T-Shirt! It is a perfect fit, great quality and looks super! Jrej had a competition to celebrate the half way mark of his comic, Shades of men - I got lucky and won =P You can find his comic here: http://tapastic.com/series/Shadesofmen and a picture of the shirt below.
Just had a look at jnette's portfolio. There are tons of brilliant illustrations there. It's such a unique style. I'd love to see a comic using these techniques!
Hehe. Good thing you consider it. If would find the right type of story, it could fit perfectly. Maybe a spiritual journey, travelling around the world. ;-)
Wow, I've been procrastinating this post for faaar too long! Sorry for not having an update for 'As true as anything on the internet' this month :( I've taken on a new job which is full time (unlike my previous job), so my free time for comic work has plummeted =/ I er.. I'm not sure what I'm going to do yet - have longer stretches between episodes or just sporadic updates.. or just.. nothing T_T I'll try my best not to do the latter.
Anyhoo, happy holidays and thank you so much for your support in the last year =D It's really really nice to know that there are people out there reading my comics, and hopefully getting a little chuckle out of them =P Also, all the people who have submitted stories - obviously couldn't have done it without you! I loved converting your words into pictures and in many cases laughing myself to tears! Brilliant stuff! Thanks :)
Aww, it's not really sad news though, jobs are good and I've been wanting one for a while now =P I'm also enjoying it a lot, but yeah, it's interfering with my comic time and that's a little sad.. I guess it would be easier if I had more discipline, ehhehe XD
There will be no episode update for 'As true as anything on the internet' this month, coz... I'M GOING TO THAILAND BEETCHES!!! No episode update, but you can look at my field notes for the fruit I will be hunting in the meantime X3 eeeeeeek!!
In other news: A lot of people have been subscribing to Packrat's Peril these days! Thank yooouuuu!! =D The series is all done for now, but stick around coz I'm planning to someday redo the whole thing in colour, add some episodes and so on! Yaay! ..*cough* someday.. XD I would like to do a story driven series in between my current webcomic and the new and improved 'Packrat's Peril'.. so the updates will most likely only happen after that. So stay tuned :)
Ahahaha! Well Finn, you are the master of colour after all =D
And that's not a bad idea jnettel! It might even be somewhat educational since I had to youtube 'eating guides' for some of these fruit! Not knowing what to eat and what to spit out! Ahahahaha!
Hey peoples, I've been wanting to share something nice with my subscribers to say thanks for your support and I thought the upcoming father's day is the perfect opportunity =D
Here's 2 printable gift thingies for you (you'll have to grab them from my dropbox)
For a man that can - gift tin wrapper: https://www.dropbox.com/s/dsayq1rdtfzlriw/For%20a%20man%20that%20can.pdf?dl=0
(The message reads: For a man that can stretch that extra mile)
My daddy questionnaire:

And here's a how-to for sneaking sweets into a food tin: http://www.doodlecraftblog.com/2014/08/pop-top-tin-can-cookie-surprise-just.html?m
The article suggests using a "smooth edge" can opener. I didn't have one so I used a regular one - with some tape, paper and hack and slash crafting techniques I managed to get the bottom back in. Doesn't look as nice as it could, but it works XD
Thanks for reading my comics =D Each one of you makes me run around the house doing little victory dances XD I really appreciate your subscriptions =D =D
P.S. If you like colouring or actually have kids I'm willing to also share only the outlines of these printables for you to enjoy :)
