As someone who checks updates religiously, I prefer to have a new episode for each update because it's easier to reach the point you left off at. Also, notifications for these show up in the "Your Comics" tab, which is strictly for new episode updates. If pages are updated instead, this notification pops up in the "Activity" tab, which can get lost in all the other notifications of authors sharing general posts with subscribers, not just series updates.
it kinda depens on how many pages you want to put in one post and on how the layout it.
if you make a post too big, it can become slow to load.
i have pretty fast internet, but even i`ve seen posts here on tapastic that take agaes to load :-S

Personally, i prefer the new episode for a new page. it kind of makes things easier in a way XD
