Hello Dy-Gar. Hope everything is going fine for you. I see you are pretty active with Steel Salvation right now. That's great news!
With the current events I had lots of time home myself and I wanted to share my latest project with you.
I developed a story hosting platform powered by the Hive blockchain. It allows to earn crypto currency for your content. It's still in alpha version but most features are complete.
I've been posting Shades Of Men on the Hive network for the past 4 years but I now optimized the interface for series. I made a forum post about it https://forums.tapas.io/t/get-rewards-for-your-content-on-inkito/44257.
I'd love to have your feedback, even just for the design. The site is https://inkito.io.
Thanks a lot. Let's keep on surfing the productivity wave!
Hi Jrej! Thanks for checking in! Yeah, it's been a long, long, looooong road, but the comic is back on track, and I don't want to jinx it, but I've had no issues with my new artist so far, and I'm doing most everything else myself, so I don't have to worry about anyone else but me lol.
I'll definitely take a look at the site a little later today. I'm about to step out for a bit, and I want to give you some detailed feedback if I can. Sounds like an exciting project!
Hello again! Sorry it took so long to respond. The last few days have been crazy, and I was having trouble finding your message when I got back to it lol. Anyway, I don't know anything about cryptocurrency, but the website looks pretty good and the idea behind it is awesome! Navigating through content is very easy and the presentation is clean. A couple design things I think could be adjusted: The light blue/teal bar at the top is a little too thick, since it's mostly blank space inside, and the "promoted content thumbnails" are so small that it looks like the bar is covering them up. The headers for the different sections ("Comics" and "Novels") currently don't stand out very much. I'm not sure if they would look better if they were centered, or if they should just be bigger, but I think that could be tweaked. Lastly, I found two typos in the "What is Hive?" section of the FAQ. "It's benefit" should be "Its benefit" and "developped" should be "developed." That's all I can think of for now, but if something else comes to mind, I'll let you know!
Oh thank you so much for looking into it in details. That helps a lot. I'll go correct the typos, and think of ways to adjust the design. That's great!
Hey Tapastic friends! Thank you for your patience during this long, mysterious hiatus. The good news is that we got in touch with our artist, mecha.red, and we're all on the same page again. The bad news is that, due to personal business, we'll have to continue this hiatus for some time. Right now, we're projecting a year long hiatus, but when we get back into it, we'll be recharged and fully prepared to finish off Part 2 the right way. We apologize for the break, but believe me, it will be worth it. Feel free to keep in touch, and we'll be updating this page periodically with random cool stuff, so don't be a stranger.
Somehow I missed this update. I was just thinking about you this morning. I'm glad you got a hold of your artist, the last post made it sound scary. Look forward to seeing your return next year!
So, uh, in case you're wondering where the next update of Steel Salvation is, we seem to have misplaced our artist. It's nothing to panic about (yet) but unfortunately, I can't give you guys an ETA on when Strip 32 will hit. Is it because we don't know, or because we like to be spooky and mysterious? Perhaps our artist has just taken spooky and mysterious to the next level and made himself mysterious even to us.
Hey everybody, we just got our first cameo courtesy of Nate the Robot! See if you can spot Dy-Gar in there, and if you read a lot of webcomics, you should enter the contest and try to name as many cameos as you can! http://tapastic.com/episode/194163
Hey everybody, due to some technical difficulties, strip 30 will be a little late. We'll have to post on Monday, September 7th. We're really sorry about the delay, but based on the most recent WIP I've received, I can say with confidence that it will be well worth the wait.
Thank you! The image was originally a Tshirt design. One of my friends is working on getting it printed! ;-) The webcomic world is definitely a small one. That's what I love!
