Hello everyone, due to a full time job I seldom update at this point, though the next Vegetables for Dessert comic strip is underway. I'm writing to you today to share some concerns I have with Tapas the corporation. Recently the company tried sneaking a right of first of offer clause into their terms of service. There are better legal opinions out there and if you want to see some of the discussion going on I can share a few links.
It was removed after an outcry, however nothing good happens when a hosting service attempts to quietly sneak legal clauses into their Terms of Service. It wouldn't impact most creators and my work is far beneath their interest with minimum financial viability in their eyes. You just never know what they might try in the future. Changing the Terms of Service was a deliberate high level decision and not just some casual mistake.
However I'm going to be deleting my side series. Men of Spandex despite only having 94 subs is a deeply important personnel project of mine and I don't want a potential compromise of my creative rights.
More importantly this puts Vegetables for Dessert's future on this platform even more in question. Tapas value as mirror becomes dubious with the prospect of future legal concerns.
Vegetables for Dessert is now officially two years old on Tapastic! (That was actually last week, but okay whatever.) To celebrate I'll be posting a lot of comic strips, and there will be other events too.
First off I'll be doing an AMA. (Ask Monty Anything) Post questions in this thread. I'll pick out a number of them and answer seriously (or not so seriously) in cartoon form. Normal to weird ask what is on your mind. Fire away.
Hellooooooooooo everyone. Because nearly 300 people have subscribed to Vegetables for Dessert in the last two days let me introduce you all to the more popular strips of the series.

I'd also generally recommend starting to dig through the gallery by looking at the newer work. They're generally stronger than the older strips.
