Today is the last day of the Tapas Action Fantasy Tournament. If you haven’t already, please check out The Day The World Went Away and help me fight for a top spot and the contract that comes with it.
Well folks, it's officially October, and that means there are only 24 days left in the Tapas Action Fantasy Tournament.
Don't know what that is? Tapas decided to hold a contest for action fantasy stories, since it's being judged in three elimination style rounds, that counts as a tournament. I think. I dunno, someone probably thought it sounded cool.
Point is, the story I co-authored with the fantastic Yuki, The Day The World Went Away, is in the running. If you haven't checked it out yet, I'd appreciate it if you checked it out. I'll be doing more promo over the following weeks, with some BTS stuff and character art, so stay tuned.
Cheers,
Rusty

It's official: The Day The World Went Away is here. Been waiting for the right time to launch, and I reckon the Action Fantasy Tournament counts. I would greatly appreciate it if you guys checked it out. And hey, if you like it, I'd appreciate the sub even more.
It’s too late to save the world, but they might be able to save themselves.
When Harume Li and her partners stumble across a rogue AI bent on flooding the world, they immediately try to do the responsible thing and warn the proper authorities. Only after a brush with assassins do they realize the hopelessness of their situation.
NOAH cannot be stopped, not by them. But the mad AI will trade Haru and her family’s silence for a little warning and a way to survive the Flood. All they need is a plan and a boat: the SS-357 Ono, an antiquated museum submarine that can carry them to safety beneath the waves.
Now it’s a race against the rising tide. Will they be able to steal and repair their new home in time, or will they be swept away on The Day The World Went Away?
