Hi, I hope I don't bother too many people posting this here but please take a look. Midna, our family's cat needs surgery but we can't afford it. Please help our little kitty!

Hello Cattle Dog fans! I want to extend my apologies for being absent for so long. I won't be too long-winded, but this past year has been a rollercoaster, for better or worse.
First, I was commissioned to create a comic for a non-profit, anti-human trafficking organization that I've worked with in the past. On top of my full-time job, I had no time to work on any other comics.
Second, prior to taking on this commission, I had made a lot of sacrifices in regards to my social life and extracurricular activities to work at the pace I had set for this comic. I had few intimate connections and didn't have any extracurricular activities that I was passionate about. I know that many webcomic artists are able to keep up with their comics or find happiness primarily in that medium, but I was not able to do so without giving up other things that made me happy. My mental health took a significant blow while I was working on this comic initially.
Thankfully, I made a decision about what my boundaries are and what I wanted for this comic and for myself as an artist. I may have lost fans, subscribers, opportunities, but, if I had continued doing what I was doing, the cost would have been terrible. With that being said, I plan to update this comic every two weeks (weekly if possible). It's not as frequent as what other webcomic artists do, but that's the pace that works for me and my happiness.
If you are still here, please continue reading and I'm thankful for your interest and loyalty! I will be updating on the first and third Sunday of every month. Cheers!
It's great to see you back! It's totally cool, don't don't overwork yourself and sacrifice everything for us. I love your comics, but nothing good can come out of you doing that.:)
Slower updates are fine, no problem there; it's better that you keep healthy, and mental health is clearly not something to underestimate. When there is so much work to do, things can go south pretty fast. I think that all artists have this need to set boundaries at some point as they get to discover what they are or should be. The only thing I would advice is to give a notice if you have to go on hiatus again, just so we know you're not dead (people can die, and I often worry for them when they don't answer)
Hey comic friends! I'm very sorry I haven't posted in a few weeks. Anaba will be back on the first week of February. I was commissioned for a big comic project that, although I loved the challenge, prevented me from devoting time to my own work. Please be patient! I appreciate your readership and can't wait to show you the next chapter.
Hey everyone! I was out of commission for the Thanksgiving holiday, but Anaba is back. I appreciate your patience. I will be updating regularly until the Winter Solstice. I hope you enjoy!
Hello everyone! I'm very sorry for missing the update on Tuesday and not being super responsive. The week before the holidays tends to get overwhelming at work! Thank you for your patience.
