“Do not be frightened or bewildered by the luminous, brilliant, very sharp and clear light of supreme wisdom.”
- Bardo Thodol (བར་དོ་ཐོས་གྲོལ) (Tibetan Book of the Dead)
The last instance of Pearls of Wisdom will most likely be posted by this Saturday (27MAY).
Besides that, here's a message for everyone here, not just my loyal subscribers: This week will be hectic, and I need to work on group projects for Finals. For this reason, I'll be shunning all my social media for a while. Sorry. :'(
I know I'm not a comic creator, and I know I have a very small audience of loyal readers and subscribers, so I expect almost no one to see this message.
But to those of you that do see this, I wish a very Merry Christmas, a Happy Hanukkah and a Happy upcoming New Year! May your spirits be bright, and may fortune be your lot in 2017.
I am quite pleased to announce that the trial was a great success, and that I won't be bothered by the Jury Service for at least eight years (in theory). Normal updates will resume tomorrow.
Alrighty, ladies and gents. I've been selected as a juror in a civil court case. Depending on how it goes, I should be done by the end of this week. Until then, updates will be on a case by case basis. Meanwhile, check out some old quote-pics I made - here on this wall - before I started publishing them as the PoW series.
“You should treat all disasters as if they were trivialities but never treat a triviality as if it were a disaster.”
- Quentin Crisp (Denis Charles Pratt)
“When one is trying to do something beyond one’s known powers it is useless to seek the approval of friends. Friends are at their best in moments of defeat.”
- Henry Valentine Miller
