As is tradition, this is my not-that-regular update to tell y'all what's been going on and future plans!
I got super busy with grad school 2017-2019. I thought, hey, maybe after grad school, I can bring back Lessons in Mythology updates, right?
Ha ha ha ha ha.
I ended up signing a book contract right after grad school! This was very exciting but also put Lessons in Mythology on the back burner again.
The book I'd been working on for the past few years is about to be published! I would love for you all to check out A Graphic Guide to Art Therapy, available for pre-order.
The book has a similar humor/educational style as Lessons in Mythology, but it is about art therapy instead! I would so appreciate your support. I'll update again once it's published in September!
Now, as far as future plans for Lessons in Mythology. I'm giving myself maybe a few weeks' hiatus and then I plan to finish out the last five episodes of Norse Mythology (finally!). Like Egyptian mythology, it will end at 50 episodes.
From there, I'm taking suggestions! What would y'all like to see covered?
Thank you all for sticking around and being so supportive despite my lack of regular updates!
Hello!! If you like adventures stories interesting epic battles and great mysteries I invite you to enjoy my comic legacy of anger.

I know I've been awful at keeping up with Lessons in Mythology. I moved states and got married over the summer, and then I started graduate school in the fall! Thanks to winter break, I have an episode scheduled for the end of January. I am also really, really hoping to get a new one out once a month this year! We shall see if grad school makes that possible or not.
In the meantime, I've also been working on making new alphabet designs and things over winter break (my new weird compulsion). I would love if you'd take a gander and follow me on Tumblr at baby-bigfoot. I also have a Facebook page for Baby Bigfoot!
If you've been following Deep Fried Pudge and paying any attention at all, you know that I'm going to grad school soon. Which means, I will be very poor soon.
I entered a design contest to potentially win $500, which would help tremendously. It's a popularity contest. Would you consider voting for my design?
You can see it here:

My design is called "Comic Cat." Note: the mobile site is confusing. To vote for "Comic Cat," click the vote button UNDER the design.
You can vote every day, one vote per IP address, until the contest ends in December. Therefore, I might be super annoying this month. Please be patient with me!
Now you confused me :c Here it says "comic Cat" but in Lessons in Mythology says "Super Cat Pattern" and I already voted that one u.u Which was the correct?
