So my original plan for the next 5SL chapter was for me to write it out, and publish it as scheduled. But as I was planning out chapter 6, I came to the horrifying realization that I have no idea how to get from this point, to the endgame I have in mind. So in addition to just jumping into a story, changing my update schedule as one would clothes, and trying to write a novel while working part time and going to school full time, I've decided to extend 5SL's current break from the 11th to the 28th of February. To try and make up for this hiatus, I will be posting a short story I wrote as an exercise for my creative writing class that I genuinely feel is better written than my first few 5SL chapters. I'm terribly disappointed in myself for doing this, but I feel like if I keep going about 5SL the way I am, then it'll just fall apart.
