After a lot of consideration, after chapter one of averill is complete, the rest of the comic will be mostly black and white.
At this point in time in life, i simply do not have enough time to create each page in full color, which has set me back years in progress for this comic. I work faster inking and i feel a lot of the environments and the story itself wld benefit from my love of linework.
i want to tell averill’s story, even if it means stepping away from the original style i had approached it with. It took me forever to begin posting my webcomic because i was unsure if i wanted it to be black and white or in color. I decided eventually that i would start in color and see where that took me, and here we are.
It will be tough for me to find the time to finish the last remaining color pages of the first chapter, so please bear with me in the meantime and look forward to the future.
I am eager to draw (heh) this chapter to a close and bring the energy and content i have to offer with averill's story. over the past year i have scribbled several mini comics and have found a deeper sense of joy with the less fleshed out pages than the fully rendered.
I do not intend to wait until the holiday season is over to start posting again, so i will start today. Tonight i will post an update for averill!
not sure if you guys will receive notifs for this, but i hope you are all doing well!
i have currently been working on a method to work on the webcomic just about everywhere and i've thumbed almost the entire end of the chapter/began writing the second.
thank you for the patience and thanks for reading!
