Fresh off a breakup with her long-term girlfriend, Alberta has no intention of starting anything new. She plans to focus on her role as robotics team captain, hoping to finally make it to the championship.
Then she meets Matthew, an irresistible rookie on the robotics team. So much for her resolve not to start anything. Their relationship creates waves in the high school’s LGBTQ+ community, causing Alberta some second thoughts.
While Alberta is dealing with relationship drama, calamity strikes the robotics team. She and Matthew will have to put aside their issues and scramble if they want to have a chance to compete at all.
