Description
Alexis is the Second Prince. He dislikes any event that involves socialising, including balls. Unluckily for him, he has to attend the ball at which his brother, the Crown Prince, will choose his bride. There's no way he'll actually enjoy meeting anyone, right?
Markus is a commoner who has always wanted to go to a ball. But balls are only for nobles, and although commoners may attend just this once, only maidens are invited. Still, if he slips on a dress and a wig, he'll blend right in. It's not like anyone will be paying him any attention anyway, right?
(This story is the sequel to my other story, The Gardener and the Second Prince, although either can be read first. This is from Alexis' perspective, the other is from Markus' perspective, and this one is longer and has many different scenes.)
