"Stratosphyr" is a swashbuckling science-fantasy/steampunk adventure!
Welcome to Mh’ana - a world above the clouds where physics work a little differently: Where islands float, sky-ships soar above you using steam power & crystal energy, and Victorian concepts like aether and phlogiston work in full force! There’s a smell of sulphur in the air; dragons are commonplace; fish swim through the clouds; and more people live on artificial islands and in giant city-ships than on the fabled Groundland, which has been mostly lost to a creeping smoky haze that's known only as ‘the miasma’...
Our heroes are the ragtag "freedom fighter" crew of an old, beaten-up & heavily re-purposed sky-ship called The Duchess - and they're about to be thrown into a storm of fast-brewing war, high treason and ancient conspiracy involving the so-called 'Red Queen' of the powerful Heartland Empire!
Enter luckless prisoner Lewis Southgarden - an optimistic 14-year-old nobody from a little skyport you've never heard of. His special skill? Being in the wrong place at the wrong time...
