In a time before the First Children, there was only nothingness. Then, the Creator, our Father, weaved His divinity; forging a world which came to be named Silraphia. And from that divinity, an energy remained; something He would later introduce to His children as Magic.
As the essence originated from the Creator Himself, Magic possessed an indiscernible nature. It simply existed, yet never fully understood. While I was born without affinity to cast even a minute portion of it, I was made aware of the wonders it could bring -- but I could also see its ever present dangers.
While there is good to be gained from the Creator's gift, abuse of such power would certainly twist and corrupt so long as mortals possessed selfish desires. And therefore, I was tasked to guide the people away from the evils of temptation.
