Description
Once a famous and highly revered hero, Cleo completely disappears after the meteor hit. The impact killed D. Evil and his gang—along with many heroes and nearly half a million civilians. How the final battle against evil went down is a mystery to the public, but Cleo knows exactly how it happened and she’s livid.
Feeling betrayed and bittered to the world of heroism, she plans to live out her days dozing and killing monsters in the Sacred Forest Dungeon. Little does she realize that all this grinding will give her access to a new hero identity. Now having a blank slate to start over, she takes on the name Hero Arbiter, and swears to kill all heroes who do evil. Meanwhile, her old hero team is looking for her, and wonder why this new villain has the same unique powers as their beloved old friend.
Along the way, she partners with the sadistic but charming villain Misery, who slowly chips away at her emotional and moral boundaries. Can Cleo cleanse the heroes of evil without becoming the very thing she despises?
