Hello Tapastic! It's been awhile.
Here are my personified three provinces: New Brunswick, Nova Scotia, and Prince Edward Island.
All ready for action!
.
This project is inspired by other similar works, such as Hetalia, Project Canada/IAMP, Scandinavia and The World, and to a lesser degree, Polandball.
.
I would like to say that one big difference for this series is that I'm going to focus more on historical and cultural facts than stereotypes. Of course, I will play with those, too.
.
New Brunswick: We got that boring No-Funswick stereotype, so NB's usually the calmest and stoic of the three. He also doesn't tend to stand out much, not that he minds. A lotta hiking trails here, too. The other thing we're unique for is being the only bilingual province.
.
Nova Scotia: Canada's Ocean Playground! She's the party province. If anything is going on in the region, it's most likely going to happen in Halifax! Arguably the richest of the three, but that's not saying much. Her scars are from the Halifax Explosion. Also, Pirates!
.
Prince Edward Island: Farmers and fields everywhere. I always hear how PEI is described as being very beautiful, so I consider him as the most good looking one. Like the weather, he can be pretty temperamental. In winter, he pretty much falls off the face of the earth.
No-Funswick isn't even a stereotype, we have literally nothing here (I guess there's Magnetic Hill and stuff in Moncton?) so I totally get the personification of NB's personality x'D
A Historical Dramedy comic focusing on the lives of the Personified Maritime Provinces of Canada - Nova scotia, New Brunswick, and Prince Edward Island - and the rest of their North American friends and family.
Join them in random strips about life, culture, folklore, love, loss, jokes, and food!
Also, beware of Devils...
Updates either once or twice a week.
PLEASE READ DESCRIPTIONS FOR LITTLE FACTS!
