A girl named Iris suddenly wakes up in a garden, where she distinctly remembers she was just staring at a painting that is uncannily similar to the garden she woke up to. She discovered that she was teleported to an era that she was just listening about, an era where Emperor Nero was reigning. She stumbled upon Empress Poppaea and it was an extreme experience for her to be time-traveling. She doesn't know where to go. She doesn't know who to trust and she doesn't know if what she's doing might impact the future. But along the way, she got closer to the Empress and discovers the Empress's secret. Iris couldn't fathom the fact that there was such a kind being like her and was suffering at such young age. Despite their differences and experiences, the Empress helped Iris survive and protected her from Emperor Nero's lustful gazes.

Will she ever come home to her time before Emperor Nero kills her? Will she save someone and change the future that was already fated? Or will she find love to the extent that the future no longer matters to her?
