Young and wild, Mason took off from home when he was young and decided to open a cafe to provide for himself and so he didn't have to go out into the real world and accidentally meet his mate.

As an Omega, Mason knows that even in modern times the Alphas are in charge. He doesn't want to be one of the cliche Omegas who needs to be taken care of and treated like he's helpless; he's taken care of himself for a long time and he doesn't want that independence to be stripped away if he was to meet his mate.

Life doesn't always go as planned.

(This story overlaps with "The Omegas Savior" for a bit, but it is its own stand alone story with new characters and a new storyline but it does mention Kegan, Calix, and other characters from my first book)
