Vanilla, a lone werewolf with an unnaturally strong scent, belongs to the powerful vampire clan that rules the city. By day he can roam freely, work and live as he likes, but when night falls, he serves the vampires and their needs, whatever those needs may be. They adore him, treasure him, and hate to share him with anyone else. Vanilla doesn't mind it, they provide him security, protection, and care. But what happens when a pack moves in close by, one with a new Alpha that fears no vampire, and is looking for a mate to complete his pack? Vanilla finds himself struggling with choosing what he wants in life; who he wants to live with, who he wants to keep as a lover, and what is best for him and his werewolf nature. Amidst his struggle, someone lets slip that he's not exactly an ordinary werewolf, which only adds to the further-tangling mess he finds himself in. Who can he trust? Which side does he pick? What if he were to pick neither?
