In a darkened hallway a figure stirs to wakefulness. She's young, perhaps fifteen, and has shaggy black hair that is just long enough to reach the base of her neck in places. She's slumped against a wall with her back against a vent, dressed in a rumpled guard's outfit. Slowly her eyes blink open, revealing startlingly bright green irises. There are dark rings beneath her eyes, made deeper and darker because of the dim lighting.....

The girl glanced around in confusion, taking in the pipes on the walls, the suppressing silence, and the stains on the tile floor. She felt weak, as if all the strength had left her limbs, and she felt tired, though she'd just woken up. A pounding in her head stopped her from immediately moving.
Her eyes fell on a small blue cap, and she sluggishly grasped it and put it on her head. Next she looked down at herself, and realized that she was having great difficulty remembering....anything about herself.
She was wearing a nametag, and her brow furrowed as she attempted to read the upside-down letters. Maybe there was a clue to be found.
The little gold tag was scuffed and worn. Only one letter was visible.
"M."
The girl said it softly and decided then and there that it would be her new name, at least until she could reclaim her lost memories from the fog in her brain. She wondered why she wasn't more concerned about the lack of memory. Should she be panicking? She didn't have the energy. She blinked again.
"M. Em. I am Em." She tested the words, her voice croaked into the emptiness.
This is a Choose Your Own Adventure series! That is to say, you-the reader- can interact and choose what to do next.
Em has just woken up in a strange dark hallway with no memory and no idea what has happened. All she has are her clothes, and the nametag that is too scuffed to read. The only letter she can make out is 'M'.
YOU get to help decide what Em will do next. Help solve the mystery, help keep her alive, and help regain her memories.
All you need to do is pick one of the four options or suggest your own. Better keep a close eye, this series will update spontaneously and the story will CHANGE according to the choices made. There is no buffer of panels. Each one is made fresh after receiving input from viewers.
(This is both a social experiment and a personal story idea I wanted to test. Your responses WILL be recorded and must be kept PG or PG-13 to be valid.
Choose wisely.)
