Description
Started July 2014, Down and Out is the first draft for a story following robots as they attempt to earn their right to live, uproot the unfairness of their society, and learn how to show their friends they care - while changing their own world views and the world views of people around them.
Laura Lallygag is just one of many robots seen as a disposable resource with no notable rights. She is not going to die within a few short years, though. She is determined to survive, acquire the rights of an officially recognized person, and thrive.
