21-year-old, fresh out of college, Aicusa suffers Retinitis Pigmentosa, a disease in the eye that causes the deterioration of the Retina and can lead to permanent blindness. It doesn't help her case that she enjoys the computer world despite her 23-year-old friend's pleas for her to stop. Aicusa is torn between turning away from the computer world and leave everything, or keep everything and bring her stories to life.
