Longtime comic lover, and discovering tapastic has been outright fantastic. Glad to be a member of the family now!
And as much as I know that most people would rather not just chat with a stranger: I do love conversing with people. Whether you want to talk about your troubles or your successes, or just what comics we've each stumbled across, feel free to message me!
Hmm... the big deal for me is well made characters, and a well made world.
My first webcomics were:
-Dresden Codak, which is slow to update but brilliant on all counts, from art to characters to world design.
-Dr McNinja, which is hilarious beyond reason and just plain fun and action packed.
-Questionable Content, which is probably the closest to a "slice of life" that i've ever read. I mean they have sci-fit bits like robots, but its all about people, and i'm hooked on the characters.
-Gunnerkrigg Court, Brilliant fantasy/sci-fi, an engaging world and lovable characters.
-Supernormal Step, probably the most action filled behind Dr McNinja, and some really deeply emotional characters.
-Girl Genius, Also highly hilarious with a fun world, nonsense and explosions and mad science.
So yeah, thats the best sampler for what I like. I've got LOTS of others that i check constantly for updates, from tapastic and otherwise, but those are easily my favorites!
