I know it's been many years since I last updated. 2015 was a time before my current employment when I was considering doing comics and freelancing full time as a career. However my trajectory had changed significantly since I started work as a concept artist in the games industry, and thus I had left comics on the back burner.
There are many unfinished series left because of this, and I do not think I'll be returning to them any time soon since they require a level of commitment I am unable to maintain with my career path. Plus, I feel my creative narrative has changed and I like to focus on different kinds of stories.
Saying that, I'll still be posting comic updates, but they'll likely be one shots, R18, and more in line with my current project.
I had been working on the universe of London 2040 for the past few years, but most of the content is concept work, keyshots, character designs. I hadn't a chance to publish any of its narrative, other than some character bios and writing excerpts, so I'm eager to share moments from them.
Thanks for those who stuck around this long - I'm genuinely surprised people still remember me. Regardless, I appreciate the chance to resume and look forward to hanging out here again :)
Annual Heat Emissions - The team of Chroma enjoying the annual heat emissions in the underground metropolis in replacement of the seasons we know as they clear the main vents of excess energy yay pseudo science
Ahhh sorry I've been busy with life u_u I do want to continue Chroma but I'm taken by priorities atm... But thank you for checking in :) How have you been?
I'm liking the new updated Chroma....I'm curious. Will you be using the previous format for something different? Like maybe a spinoff? Like a gritty version that follows Seitz and Kastil's side of the story. Maybe Checkers for comedy too lol! Just asking and suggesting. I'm really excited for the updates. Good luck, I'm a huge fan.
Hey thank you so much for the comment! Oh, like not waste the old version of the comic? The general story will be gritty, and Kastil and Seitz will be the main characters so there won't be a spinoff necessary for that, also the original Chroma follows a slight different timeline and it'll be confusing to keep that version. However, I do have a mini in-between chapter series planned for Checkers, that will be a lot lighter in mood and reveal smaller things and backgrounds of the other characters in Chroma - giving the main series a breather here and there.
