I've been gone for a few years. Immortal Soul fell off around the time I got and was slowly recovering from COVID in 2020. Since then, I've still been writing things, just... Probably a bit too spicy for Tapas. I don't really know anymore to be honest. Even when I used to write stories on here, I didn't really post them myself, so I barely remember how to use the site. If I ever knew in the first place.
I was actually going to post The Cursed Words on RoyalRoad, but it seemed even more complicated than Tapas now. I guess the last time I used that site was when it was first starting.
Anyway, The Cursed Words is something I started working on in early June. Ironically, I tried not to actually curse much in the story. It's probably one of the most 'SFW' series I've ever written. Even so, the violent and gory parts were still marked with Mature, even some other stuff that deals with 'mental health' has to be considered 'Mature' now... So yeah, I don't know what else to say.
Since Immortal Soul has been unlisted on Tapas, I started posting it again on my personal website in its 'original format': https://mike777ac.com/
By original format, I mean that the chapters are thousands of words long instead of 1000 word episodes, and it's probably a rougher version for the first 3 volumes. Because when Tapas originally started posting Immortal Soul, they went through and did a decent amount of editing.
Anyway, for those of you who already bought episodes of Immortal Soul, you can still read those episodes on Tapas, but apparently you can't see the story at all if you didn't?
Sorry I haven't been on here in a long time. I mostly just wrote Immortal Soul lately and was trying to recover for most of 2019... I mainly just talked to the person who updates Immortal Soul, who changed a few times, and now I haven't heard from them since February. I got really sick in January, winters really aren't very nice to me :(. Considering the circumstances with the pandemic sweeping the globe atm, no one really knows whether they got the virus and recovered from it or not. My problem could also be totally unrelated, but I did get way sicker in March immediately after Jury Duty... And then going to the doctors for a scheduled appointment, for the Thyroid condition from this time last year which as far as I know, is now stabilized with very little meds.
Anyway, after a horrible March and half of April, I'm finally starting to feel like 'me' again lol. So I'm going to start writing consistently but I have no idea when or if my contact in Tapas will get back to me. Thus, I'm really sorry for the delays and I'll try to work on fixing Part 8 of Exodus, along with getting regular releases out again.
I wanted to let you know that I will be hosting a 2 week-long pun contest, and wondered if you were interested in participating. It starts on the 24th of January, with episode #52. Episodes will be uploaded everyday at the same time.
I only have two rules: 1. be subscribed to my series, and 2. send me all your guesses by episode #66, as that is the last episode of the contest. I have more information about the contest on my wall, which can be reached here: https://tapas.io/woolongramen
Looking forward to seeing you! I hope you will join in the fun!
Hey there! Big fan of your novel "immortal soul". You really are an amazing writer! Btw i have also started writing a novel. Will you please read it and give me some reviews? I am looking for someone who can give me advice on where to improve...
I'm not sure if I said this before or not, but "Questing" is a story that takes place around the same time as "Immortal Soul". It follows Coffee and a few other characters as they go on adventures and do stuff in the desert to the east of Lorthon Forest. https://mike777ac.com/questing/
