SupportHello! My name is A.L. Davidson, I'm a queer and disabled indie author that loves writing genre-blending stories, tales of heartwarming and horrifying romance, and the coziest sci-fi and urban fantasies you’ll find this side of the galaxy. I specialize in narratives filled with ghosts, grief, isolation, queerness, disability rep, ecohorror, space exploration, slow burn romance, and the human condition.
I am best known for my collection of web novels: The Night Farm, Lonely Planet Hotel, and The Wayward Souls of Avalon, as well as my short story series, R-PNZL: A Futuristic Fairytale and my debut novella When The Rain Begins To Burn. I is a 2023 Indie Ink, Queer Indie, Pushcart Prize, and BBNYA nominee, and a 2024 Small Spec and Indie Ink nominee.
I currently lives with way too many plants and my cat, Jukebox The Ghost. When I'm not writing, you can find me at the funeral home working a shift, playing cozy video games, or diving into my ever-growing manga pile.

-The Night Farm is still on a bi-weekly upload schedule for season two with no plans to change. It will drop its first episode of 2025 this Friday, the 10th, and the season looks like it will wrap in early May! A friendly reminder, TNF2 is available for preorder in a physical edition on my website and it is available for $1 a month on my Patreon where season three has started!
-Lonely Planet Hotel is on a WEEKLY upload schedule for the rest of season one! It will wrap in early March, go on hiatus for a short while since I'll be deep into the spring convention and book event season, and return with season two in the spring! Things are really getting interesting over there, so if you're needing a read between TNF uploads, definitely go dive in!
-All Hail The Pale Kings is back with bi-weekly Sunday uploads for a short while! I plan on having the first five or six eps up as teasers, then keep the rest to Patreon since it's pretty M-rated!
As for TNF's upload schedule on Tapas beyond season two; my goal/hope is to take a month hiatus from Tapas' in May after season two wraps to focus on a Night Farm prequel novella about Cas and Cane meeting in New Orleans, which is slated to release on my birthday - May 24th (Cas and Cash's b-day, too!). It will be available as an ebook so you web novel readers can read it on your Kindles and such. Then, sometime in the summer, I plan on doing a series of bonus/side stories about the days of the summer festival not shown in the book! Then I will launch season three on Tapas in the fall - AFTER it wraps on Patreon. Season three is slated to end in October over there, with s4 starting immediately after, so there will be a LONG break between s2 and 3 here on Tapas, so if you want to keep reading you'll NEED to join Patreon!
