SupportHello! My name is A.L. Davidson, I'm a queer and disabled indie author that loves writing genre-blending stories, tales of heartwarming and horrifying romance, and the coziest sci-fi and urban fantasies you’ll find this side of the galaxy. I specialize in narratives filled with ghosts, grief, isolation, queerness, disability rep, ecohorror, space exploration, slow burn romance, and the human condition.
I am best known for my collection of web novels: The Night Farm, Lonely Planet Hotel, and The Wayward Souls of Avalon, as well as my short story series, R-PNZL: A Futuristic Fairytale and my debut novella When The Rain Begins To Burn. I is a 2023 Indie Ink, Queer Indie, Pushcart Prize, and BBNYA nominee, and a 2024 Small Spec and Indie Ink nominee.
I currently lives with way too many plants and my cat, Jukebox The Ghost. When I'm not writing, you can find me at the funeral home working a shift, playing cozy video games, or diving into my ever-growing manga pile.
Here on Tapas you can read a few of my web novels, including Lonely Planet Hotel and my most popular series, The Night Farm - which is a 2023 Queer Indie Award and 2024 Indie Ink Award nominee! My supernatural crime drama series All Hail The Pale Kings will have a few chapters up on Tapas as a preview!
I am always writing something new, so I hope you'll stop by to say hello!
