I'm going on a hiatus, but when I do come back, I won't be coming back to Tapas. I'll be moving my work over to Webtoon. It was really fun getting my webcomic career started on this website, but I feel that, if I am to progress further, I need to move on to another platform. It won't be any time soon, but the next time you guys hear from me I will send a link to my new comic (which will be a revised Ask Count Abula series).
I'm sorry if that makes you sad, but I promise I'll be back. Thank you all for your support. <3
Sorry, but there will be no new Ask Count Abula today. From here on out (until further notice) Ask Count Abula will be updated every other Monday. I don't have a lot of free time these days to work on it as much, so this is just easier for me to work with with my current schedule. The next episode will be posted next Monday (Feb 19th), and the one after on March 5th, and so on and so on. Sorry if this inconveniences any of you, and thank you for reading. <3
Next Monday there will NOT be a new Count Abula episode due to it being Christmas Day. Ask Count Abula will be starting back up on January first, so be ready for that!
Thank you all, and have a Happy New Year. :)
Hello everyone~
Sadly, there is no new Ask Count Abula chapter today. I cannot afford to release any more comics as of right now until I get more questions I can base chapters on. I have three done but will hold on to them until I am able to make more with the help of reader-submitted questions. Any question for Count Abula will do, whether it be mundane to the extremely detailed. I can make a chapter out of anything with view help.
Thanks for reading, and please enjoy this drawing of me and my two favorite OCs.
The next episode of Ask Count Abula drops tomorrow and will continue to be updated every Monday! So subscribe and tell your friends so you don't miss it. B)
Okay! I feel like I need an update thingy for Spark.
First off: sorry I haven't updated it since March. The chapters are getting longer and longer, and I can't keep up with it (Chapter one was 3 pages, where chapter fifteen was 24) BUT Spark will still continue! I am so determined to finish this thing. Also, for those who didn't know, the purpose for the Spark comic initially was for pure practice. I spent too long wanting to make a webcomic but didn't because I didn't know where to begin, until one day I was like "might as well try"! Thus, the Spark comic was born! I knew it wasn't going to look perfect, but I had to start from somewhere. I think my overall art style has improved since the first chapter. I noticed that because, when I need to look back to the beginning for reference, I cringe for eternity.
But enough about that HERE'S THE 411 ON THE NEXT CHAPTER!
It is in progress! It's 30 pages long and I already have 9 of them lined and colored. Once all the pages are done with that is when I go back and add the text boxes from the script I already have prepared. It's a very repetitive process.... Also, I've done some things a bit differently. I've been practicing my backgrounds so it looks less like a child made them. Also, I changed the font of everything. That 'comic book' font I've always used is, frankly, overused, and I was kind of sick of it. So there will be no more of that! In addition to updating that, I updated almost all other pictures associated with Spark around Tapas. By that I mean the banner is new, the thumbnail is new, the ad image is new, and even the 'Thank You For Subscribing' picture has been revamped. For that last one you can find it on the official Spark Tumblr page: https://sparkcomicblog.tumblr.com/
And as for future chapters, I have written up to chapter 24, but I know how the rest of it will go, I'm just struggling with story placement and determining what plot points need to stay-or-go before the ULTIMATE CONCLUSION.
Spark, Episode14: Beginning Of The End part 3 of 3, will go live this Tuesday at 8:00 am PST. Sorry for the wait! I made the chapter really long, and I've been busy with classes. Please forgive me. ;;;
