I need to figure out how to set up a shop someplace online. I'll try to do this sometime after Wintercon -- I'm pretty busy these days. Thank you so much for your interest :)
Whoa.. Wasn't expecting a follow back! Thanks, a ton! I guess it's true, green reptiles gotta stick together, haha! Stay tuned on Sundays for more Harold the Dragon!
Hard copy prints! Just ordered 100 more copies of "Breakfast for Dinner," then I'll be selling them at Winter Con in NYC in December. How much should I charge for the 4-page preview issue (Bath Time) and the 30-page issue (Breakfast for Dinner)?
@Fany I haven't thought about selling the comics online -- so far only in the context of comic conventions and I've never sold my own comics before. Well, I've also never been to a comic convention either @_@ But I want to first sell hard copies as promotion and get some more fans before I consider getting them sold directly from the printer to the customer. Any advice on pricing or anything else you think I should know?
Aha... I've never been to a convention either :) I would like to help with pricing but as a Czech person I have no idea what price should be right over there in the USA, sorry... My friend said that he would always go with double the manufacturing price, if that helps :) I think that at Indyplanet they had a certain percentage for the creators but I don't remember the number or if you could change it. I think starting at Indyplanet should be best because it costs you only time to set it up and they'll print the comic every time someone orders it.
