I’ve been drawing comic books since the mid-60s [so, yeah, I'm old]. If I have a best-known work, it would have to be The Mundane Adventures of Dishman, part of the wave of xeroxed, self-published, small-press comics zines that were flourishing in the 80s.
Today's Space Kid page is the last one you will see on Tapas...
...on a Wednesday.
Since June 1, 2010, SK has been running once a week at his own domain spacekidcomics.com ... and, several years later, I decided to launch reruns here on Tapas (still "Tapastic" in those days). Since I had a hefty backlog then, I thought it would be fun/nice to run these pages more frequently, so I started the twice-weekly schedule that has been happening ever since.
However, the main site was still only creating NEW pages at the rate of one per week, and so we were burning thru old ones here faster than new ones were being made. Meaning the day would have to come when Tapas caught up with the original site.
Today is that day.
So, starting next week, Space Kid will appear here on Mondays only. If anything, that should make it easier for you to stay caught up, so I hope everyone will stick with it, keep coming back, and keep reading.
Thanks for your support, everyone who visits -- I do appreciate it!
