Hear ye! Wikid Publishing has finally uploaded Decimators #1 to their store! That's right, a printed version of your favorite webcomic! Grab your copy before a PX Police Death Squad gets there!
So this is been a crazy week and I couldn't finish the page as I had intended. You think I don't have a good excuse? I do! Our (Richard C. "Diversity & Comics " Meyer's and yours truly's) graphic novel has been an Indiegogo success and I've been networking like crazy! Do not worry, for there's a whole chapter of the graphic novel you can read for free in this very link:
So I won't be able to update Decimators today as usual, due to the conflunce of a sheitload of paid commissions and the Holidays, but I promise I'll make it up to you.
Remember that Canales loves you, comrades. Kill, kill for Canales.
I've got a surprise for y'all: since I'm not going to be updating Decimators in the next 2 weeks, I give you a full graphic novel I created a bunch of years ago to keep you entertained. You can check it out here: https://tapastic.com/series/Weregun And please, bear with me. This was ages ago, and I had to rip the files out of the PDF I made since the originals have been since deleted, so excuse the just meh quality of the images.
This might be an off-kilter question but here goes. I kind of have an armor fetish so I have to ask: Was there any particular inspiration for the Decimator's armor design?
I'm glad you asked! That's a bit of a long story. I toyed with several designs (regular bulky exoskeleton, a Marvel-style spandex-y suit) and ultimately, I used Heroforge to get the look I was looking for. It's a really helpful tool for designing characters, go check it out if you don't know it already.
Hey guys! Just wanted to let you know, I'll be busy visiting the US of A the last two weeks of August, so I won't be able to update Decimators as I had planned (I was actually planning on having a cache of pages ready, but a last hour gig happened and consumed what little spare time I had). So! To mitigate your withdrawal syndrome until I come back from the land of the free, I suggest you visit Ron Edwards' webcomics https://tapastic.com/series/Sword-of-God and https://tapastic.com/series/One-Plus-One. Some really good stuff over there, man.
