Hello stranger! I’m so happy that you’ve subscribed to Mari & Bisi. Bisi was one of my favorite side characters, and I was so glad to give her the spotlight and a beautiful Omegan mate to win over. If you have any questions or comments as you read, I always reply! Happy reading!

Hi hi and merry merry all the things! Some cool stuff has happened. Velvet Season was featured in the Novel Picks section of the Tapas homepage for a cycle. (Two weeks, I think?) In that time, it got several new subscribers, so thank you for reading, and welcome to Melitown.
The other cool thing is that I just posted the end of the October Omens arc of Birthday Girls today, which is coincidentally my birthday. *I'm* the birthday girl today. ✨👑✨
If you enjoy Velvet Season's whole deal with the Obvious and the Obscure, talking animals, and mysterious creatures, Birthday Girls is set in the same town, just following a different girl, years before Nyrun & Moira's story starts. There's a lot of time skipping (but not time travel) as we unravel the mystery of what is up with Eleanor Jane Kistler, so you'll see several familiar characters when they were younger. (🦌Young Jasper! René before Henry! 😈) It's not necessary to read both, but--and I might be a tad biased--I think it'll be fun? I feel fairly confident in my recommendation of it. ;)
The end of Velvet Season's Halloween arc is coming. I took a break for some holiday travel and am catching up.
With warmest wishes of strength and protection from the coldness of this world,
🐇🐇🐇
Hi Extrarabbits! You are my very first subcard post blackout period! Here is your canned wall post! I’m so excited that you’ve subscribed to Free Radical! Thanks so much for tuning in as Jake and Andie try to find their missing pieces and reconnect. I hope to see you in the comments section if you ever have any questions or thoughts to share. Long live long lost love! \(^-^)/

Happy Halloween, friends! 🎃 I've added extra long parts of both Velvet Season's Night Visitors and Birthday Girls' October Omens arcs, a bit earlier than my usual 11pmET time. 💀 I had the best intentions of wrapping them today, but with a couple hundred trick-or-treaters expected at my house tonight, it's just not in the stars. 🌙
But that just means Halloween gets to be a little longer in Melitown this year! We love that, right? I know I do.
In preparation for the spookiest of days, I've posted double installments of Birthday Girl's Halloween story, October Omens tonight. And next week, on Halloween, I'll post the conclusion—instead of holding out until Friday. (Even though it's always Halloween in my heart.)
Velvet Season's Halloween story, Night Visitors, also ends on Halloween (its usual posting night), so I hope you're ready for a big day in Melitown. 💀
Oh no! It appears last night's update for Velvet Season was scheduled to post during an outage. It's available (whew!) but it's apparently not showing as updated in subscribers' library lists (bummer!)
Here's a link just in case:
https://tapas.io/episode/2882220
It's got everything—corner shop cat crankiness, uninvited guests, hotdogs, and orphans!
And next Tuesday? Oh, we finally get to meet a human. NBD. 👀
It is showing up as an update in my library... I got distracted by IRL drama right after I started Velvet, so I need to go get back to it, and this was a good reminder!
Oh this is good to hear, thank you! I'm glad it's not affecting everyone. Maybe it was residual issues from right after the outage. And thank you for subscribing and reading! <3
I've had several similar issues... I feel for you. My personal least favorite is when the books disappear completely from the scrollable list of novels for a couple of days and so no new people notice them and they go dead for a day or two and have to restart in the rankings to get back closer to the start of the scroll. Kind of a self-exacerbating problem.
