Story: Deathless (I think? I can't really remember and I can't check because the book this is in has already been packed away cause we're moving)
This little boy is Maddy, aka, flower boy, because he really likes flowers but he can't figure out why because he has amnisia and can't remember anythinga bout himself or his past life but the fact that he's twelve and he's dead. In this story he goes through the world of the dead, not exactly the under world and not Hevan either. In this world when you die, you see what you think should be there when you die or see a place had has been heavily influenced by something you liked or had a strong connection to durring your life. The same thing applies to your appearance (you appear as something you had a strong connection to or something your really wanted to be in your life, so there's a lot of weird looking folk in this place). Because Maddy (who originally has no name) has literally no memory of his past life, or anything really for that matter, he has absolutely NO idea why he looks like a magician and sees the world of the dead as a giant carnival with crazy colors, a weird chalk drawing sky, and weird plants that include crystal flowers.
