I actually like how you did this a lot.
It shows so much more, like every warrior has their own path to walk, their own goals to achieve, their own weapons to fight with.
This shows how unique every single one of them is, and their approach to life, some are laidback, some are hunched and exhausted, some are defiant in the face of adversity.
Additionally, the most important part here, is that everyone, no matter the story, the plot, the character, the path, they have something in common. Here, that commonality is the origin, they all have something bringing them together. And, that, to me, is special.
