Kipcha, a normal functioning person, coming back to find out her disaster bf got himself got. Do you think she'll have a perfectly hinged response and take it up with the law or do you think she'll commit several crimes?
Anyways, end of the chapter omg!! Next week will be the Chapter 2 Interlude and then onto Chapter 3! Thank you guys SO much for coming and hanging out and reading my little story with me. It means so much and to know at least a few people find my characters and world enjoyable its just so <3
I'm so happy to be invited to the creator bonus program on this platform and to have my own small little audience by the end of Chapter 2!
It's a little overwhelming some weeks making sure I get enough pages done to have a healthy backlog, on top of plot writing, script writing, edits on both of those... concept art and more. I know it's what every comic artist goes through, especially those of us doing webcomics, but I get to whine too sometimes haha! But honestly, I love doing it. And I'm so excited to get the comic into it's main meat of a plot, the first few chapters are so tame compared to what's to come.
I smell some crimes a-comin', personally. And maybe Malon getting a swat on the head for that dumb move. Love where this is heading, but take care of yourself!
"When Ashai Revali finds herself as a bard’s unknowing new muse, it’s not exactly the romantic ballad a Javarkan princess would dream of. The words paint a twisted image of her half-Hollo heritage—a cursed race with an affinity for Blight magic. Her mother’s homeland, The Pact, is said to be infested with monsters and scorned by their gods. The Javarkan Empire has come to despise their occult neighbors and regard those who wish to cross the border with suspicion.
Such suspicion falls on the disgraced elven noble, Cas Filvar, when he finds himself in the company of Kipcha, a Hollo woman of unknown origins. Some question if she has faltered his allegiance to the Empire, while others argue such allegiance never existed.
Just three more souls lost to The Decay."
INTENDED FOR 18+ READERS
Echoes of Decay is a Dark Fantasy with a heavy lean on the natural macabre, folklore, and monsters. While dark, it is also intended to have its times of fun and character-driven dynamics.
This story is written through a queer lense, so while not an LGBTQ+ story specifically, it has queer themes and characters in the forefront.
