"Woah... Are those your real teeth?" Someone asked in the millionth time. Seriously, if I got a penny for everytime someone asked that, I'd be a billioner.
"Yeah.." was all I said.
"Cool."
"Uh huh."
He just kept staring at me. Or my teeth. Or both and I started getting uncomfortable. Luckily, my best friend was there. He's always there when I need him.
"Come on, you make him uncomfortable." Liam said and the boy scooted away after apologizing.
"Ughh, thanks." I groaned and leaned back against him. Those kids sometime act as if they never saw my teeth.
"You're welcome" he replied with his usual, sweet smile. He shifted his body so now my head was leaning on his chest and carted his fingers through my hair. I smiled.
What would I do without him.
Huh?
HUH!?
TELL ME!

POOF _-_-_-_-_-_
We started talking about random stuff while I painted a certain painting on my ipad. My mother bought me that ipad when I was sixteen and now I have so many sketches, drawings, and paintings of sceneries and some portraits of humans, most of them are of my classmate's.
The first human I drew was Liam, and I think that was a mistake. Cause after some of my classmates saw it, almost everyone asked to be drawn. But, well.. that's good, that's practice. Even if it means kids running after me all around school to ask for a painting of themselves or a family memeber. Or a pet.
Of course that I don't answer all of their requests positive. Seriously, I think I'll start demanding money for it. That would be a good income.
The main paintings I have in my ipad though, are of animals. I just like painting them so much, from images, imagaination, or even real life. Though it's harder from imagaination, obviously.
But it became easier with practice. And going through the paintings I made in the past two years, I just can't believe how good I became. But the proof is right infront of my eyes. I think I was born for it.
"Class, to your seats" Principle Kriston said as he entered through the door. The students didn't need to be told twice. Everyone got back into their seats in a hurry. I placed my ipad and pen back into their place, promising that I will see them soon enough.
"Class" Mr. Kriston started. Only then I noticed a man standing next to him. He was pretty tall and built, and something about him was.. different. Almost unrealistic. Not his face. But his aura.
"I want to introduce you to your new teacher for the meantime."
"What happened to Mr. Bryson?" Someone cut in.
"He went on a leave, personal reasons. Your new teacher, Mr. Felix Everett, will fill his place for some time until we find someone permanent."
"I suggest Liam here" I yelled, pointing at Liam.
"Don't even joke about that thing, Kai" he laughed. The last thing he wants to be is a teacher.
"Pff! I can imagine you standing infront of the class and– Haha!" He took me into a choke hold to prevent me from talking any further.
We do that kind of thing a lot.
I played dead. My tongue was hanging out of my mouth, I was all in the game. After a few seconds, Liam supported me by my neck and pushed back.
I heard my classmates giggle and I assumed it was about the situation. But no. All of a sudden Liam pulled on my tongue, making me yelp in surprise and I jumped back, glaring at him. But there was nothing angry about that.
"Mean." My voice came muffled through my hands that were covering my mouth.
"Hahaha! Sorry sorry. I'm sor.. haha!"
Oh yeah? Let's see who would laugh after I'll..
I leaned forward and placed my forehead under his armpit as he just sat there, thinking I was chilling or whatever. But that's when I striked, biting his side. Not hard, but still. I immediately drew back as now he was the one to yelp.
"HahaOww! Did you just bite me? You dog!" He massaged the bitten place while glaring at me halfheartedly.
"If already a dog I'd rather be a wolf. I louuuve them."
"Ugh... Go get yourself a room already" Thomas groaned. That boy seems pretty jealous more than disgusted. But seriously, he's almost the only one commenting about what we do. Like, all the freakin time!
I looked at Liam and he looked at me, his eyebrow drew up and he tilted his head slightly to the side, his eyes telling me to calm down and not cause a scene. I just smirked, turning to the boy with intrusive problems.
"Aww. Pas besoin d'être jaloux." (No need to be jealous). I did my baby voice on him and he raised a brow.
Then, I leaned on the back of my hands, my elbows resting on Liam's arm chair. "Maybe you should get laid, so you won't be so grumpy all the freaking time." The boy actually blushed red. The class laughed hard.
"Ew."
"Hehe."
"Okay!" The principle cleared his throat, it was obvious he laughed a bit. But maybe he decided that it was a bit too much.
Mr. Everett had his fingers positioned on the bridge of his nose, but I could see the hint of an amused smile on his face.
"I will leave the class to you now" Mr. Kriston said, turning his attention to Mr. Everett.
"Of course" the latter replied, returning to look tough once again as he stood straighter.
"Class, behave" Mr. Kriston said but looked at me specifically.
"Yes sir" I saluted. Making the class laugh again. The principle just chuckled and shook his head, closing the door after him.
Kai thinks he's just a normal human being like all the other students in his class. But then he realizes how wrong he was. People he trusted, lied to him all of his life. Someone he thought was dead, turned out to be alive.
He felt so betrayed.
Stuff he thought were just legends and fairytales, turned out to be all true.
It all was too overwhelming.
He tried to run away cause he couldn't handle that much at once. But with the right, not so usual people by his side, he learns how to accept the truth.

There will be some french sentences here and there.
