“Hey hey hey! Come on! There is no need for violence!”
One of the knights let out a battle cry as they charged at Yang from behind. However, the masked girl was able to easily move out of the way of the spear and then break its tip with a swift downward kick from her right foot.
The knight who tried to attack her stared at his broken spear in disbelief. But he could not ponder anything after as Yang punched him right in the chin. The force of her punch was strong enough to make the knight fly off the ground and slam into one of the buildings in the town.
The people in the streets started screaming and panicking. The Royal Lady and the rest of their knights stared at Yang with their mouths agape and eyes nearly popping out of their sockets.
Yang turned back to the royal lady—the Queen, as she dusted herself clean of any dust and returned to her nervous position.
“Like I said—there is no need for violence! Please listen to me!”
“GUARDS!!!”
From the wailing of the Queen, the knights were empowered and attacked Yang. The masked girl effortlessly dodged all of their attacks with such grace and knocked them out with either punches, kicks, or karate chops.
All the knights fell over unconscious on the ground with Yang standing in the middle of them looking quite silly. The Queen was dumbfounded but more enraged at the sight of her best knights being rendered useless.
“How dare…HOW DARE YOU!!!”
The Queen ran up to Yang and slapped her across the face. However, that action proved to only work against the Queen as she was the only one who felt pain from that exchange. The royal lady screamed out as she thought all the inner workings of her hand were shattered and she fell on her knees crying.
All Yang did was look down at her while scratching her head.
“I feel like this didn’t have to get this far,” Yang stated. “Can you please just listen to me? I just want to know where I really am—“
“You dare hurt the Queen?”
A powerful wind began to erupt from the Queen as if she were the center of a tornado.
Yang replied, “I didn’t hurt you, dummy! You hurt yourself!”
The Queen did not respond to Yang’s statement and instead rose to her feet. Four wings like an angel appeared behind her back as she started to fly up to the sky.
Yang’s eyes widened in disbelief.
“Well, that’s new…I’m pretty sure humans can’t do that…”
“YOU WILL KNOW THE MEANING OF HARMING MY HOLY BODY!!”
A pink beam of light began to appear out of the Queen’s mouth and then a second later the beam fired directly at Yang. The connection was a quick and massive explosion of fire and dust scattered across the area.
But one blast was not enough. The Queen repeated the beam attack twenty to forty more times until there was nothing but a massive crater from where Yang was standing.
Pleased by the destruction, the Queen started to laugh aloud.
“That is what you deserve peon! Know the sin of ruining my wor—“
“I get it now.”
All the color in the Queen’s face vanished as she heard the voice of Yang ring out from the bottom of the crater. Inside that very same crater was the masked girl who was picking up and examining the rubble.
“I feel dense spiritual energy coming from dirt itself. That means that this isn’t the real world but a spiritual world made from the fabrication of someone’s mind—an imaginative world.”
Yang easily hopped out of the crater and looked up towards the Queen who was still in the air, staring at her in shock.
“You have the most spiritual energy in this place,” Yang said. “That must mean you are the core.”
“W-what are you talking about!?” The Queen stuttered. “S-stop talking nonsense and just die already—“
The Queen was ready to fire another mouth beam but Yang had no intention of being target practice again. The masked girl summoned the black scabbard and took out her katana. She then jumped as high as she could—meeting the Queen face to face.
And then with one swing she sliced the Queen in half—including the land and the castle that was behind her.
The split Queen fell to the ground, no blood or organs spilling from the wound. And, despite being split in half, the Queen was still alive. She was crying and thrashing around as Yang walked up to her.
“If this is a world built by imagination, then that means that this is the soul of a human being,” Yang concluded as she looked down at the Queen. “That means…I possessed a human.”
Yang gasped at the realization.
“I can’t believe it! This is my first time taking the vessel of a living being! I don’t even know the proper procedure! W-wait if this is the soul—isn’t it bad that I attacked the core like this!?”
Yang then worriedly stared at the split Queen and started to sweat.
“No no no! I have to fix her!!”
The masked girl knelt down and placed her hands in between the split body of the Queen. A light emitted from her hands as she tried to fix the damage.
“There we go! Just calm down, I promise that everything will be alright—“
But then, the same strange glowing white hands that grabbed her before latched onto Yang again.
“Oh what now!?”
The hands then got brighter and powerful winds began to consume the entire world around Yang.
“Oh, crap! Please tell me I didn’t destroy her mind or something! Please—“
Yang screamed as the winds took her and she vanished inside the hurricane with all the hands still attached to her.
