Lucas flies across the sky as he searches for Eiden as King Ubuvu guides him to his old home as they get ready to face Naki and put a stop to this.
“So this Village. What does it look like?” Lucas asked.
“You’ll see it when we get there.” Ubuvu respond as Lucas faces forward and sees something appear in his view. The empty town. “Here we are! Lets land here.”
Lucas makes a landing away from the castle and onto the town as he looks up Lucas and Ubuvu take in the once thriving town as it is now empty. The buildings are falling apart, theres items everywhere, and dead tree houses that are somehow still carrying the buildings.
Lucas looks around in awe while Ubuvu looks at the town in shock. What felt like days for king Ubuvu he couldn’t believe that something that was once his home he tried to protect has turned into nothing.
“My home…” Ubuvu mumbled as hes in shock.
“My goodness.” Said Lucas as he keeps his voice down “this place, its so…marbh (dead)”
Lucas starts to walk across the town as he makes his way to the castle but upon doing so they look around the empty buildings that Lucas has been greeted with since he got here.
“You should’ve seen how beautiful Hubatian’s cove was.” Said Ubuvu. “There would be magic everywhere and intresting Hubatians that you get to meet. Seeing the place now in ruin, is such an upsetting sight.”
While Ubuvu was on the subject of his kind, he remembered Lucas’ question about them as he didn’t give him an answer yet.
“Thats right, you wanted to know what happened to my kind years ago haven’t ya?” Ubuvu asked.
“Yeah, do you know?”
“What I was going to say that I would be happy to tell what happened to them. But the truth is… I don’t know what happened to my kind. I feel like I was told about something but fifty eight years of being gone from this world did take a toll on my memories of being alive.”
Ubuvu sighs for a moment has thinking about the past hurts him.
“Now that I’ve awnsered your question Lucas, I want to ask a question. Are there any magic users in your world?” Ubuvu asked as he noticed something was missing. Lucas tries to recall anyone using a singe spell in his lifetime.
“Well, other than that Thryphon guy…I haven’t seen anyone use magic yet.” Lucas awnsered.
“I see…”
The two of them kept walking across the town as they chat until they realized they made it to the castle where Naki and Eiden have been hiding.
“Well. This is it.” Said Ubuvu. “Are you ready?”
“Ready as I’ll ever be.” Said Lucas as Ubuvu nods and retreats to the sprit orb to let Lucas transform into a Hubatian once again. Lucas has his hands at the door as he takes a deep breath to get ready for the fight, and then he walks into the castle.
Upon entering the castle Lucas expected a few Stravulians waiting for him to show up. But its empty. Lucas was greeted with spider webs and portrait of what it looked like the previous king and queen of the place and Naki and Ubuvu themselves. But has aged over time due to the place being abandoned.
“Empty.” Lucas whispered. “I couldn’t saved everyone that fast have I?”
“No, somethings not right.” Ubuvu whispered back. “Be on your guard.”
Lucas nods as he eventually makes his way to the throne. The place is still empty but someone waits for him as he sits on the throne.
“There you are Lucas.” Naki chuckles. “I’m so glad you paid a visit to see us. You sure know how to keep a host waiting for you.”
Some where in Eiden’s mind. Eiden himself is chained up against a pillar by Naki himself in order to keep control of Eiden’s body as Eiden looks defeated as he looks up as he hears Lucas. In his line of vision is Naki’s point of view where hes facing Lucas, and Naki himself as hes controlling Eiden like a puppet. He doesn’t say a word or tries to break free. He just sits there and watches as he looks like hes waiting for all of this to end.
“No more running away Naki.” Said Lucas as he looks like hes not afraid anymore. “Its time to settle this once and for all!”
“Oh, straight to the point are we?”
Naki chuckles as the chuckle turns into laughter as he speaks.
“Aren’t you forgetting something boy?! Did it ever cross your mind to why everyone is gone?”
Back at Tree Oak grove Hudson gets a team ready for confronting Naki as he wonders where Lucas went. But as they get ready, one of the guards notice something.
“Uuuh sir. Up in the sky!” one of them yelled as Hudson looks up and sees a cloud of Hubatians charging after the kingdom. The one leading it is Tryphon himself as Naki seems to manage to find him and turn him into his kind as punishment.
“EVRYONE GET READY!” Hudson yelled “PROTECT THE KINGDOM!”
While Hudson is defending the kingdom, back at Hubatian’s cove or once Hubatian’s cove Naki continues to monologue.
“While you were too busy setting off to find me, I told that old coot to lead my men to your home town to finally take back whats mine!”
Lucas looks panicked as he realized that Mike and his friends are unaware that he left on his own as he notice they are charging after them.
“Oh no guys!” Lucas yelled. “I should’ve warn them!”
Naki laughs. “What you should’ve done is look up.”
Naki snaps his fingers as a group of stravulians land as they gang up Lucas as Isobel is in the group. Lucas backs to the center as he looks like hes in trouble.
“BORTHER YOU FIEND!” Ubuvu yelled as he can’t do anything.
“Its over kid.” Naki chuckled “soon. Tree Oak grove and the Mythara will be mine! Now.. FINISH HIM OFF!”
“NO!!!” Eiden yelled as the shackles keep him from stopping Naki.
