I had been eating out with Dion at least five times, but this time it felt different. I also took him to a nicer place this time. But it wasn’t about the setting. It was about the fact that Dion’s fingers were loosely fitted in between mine on top of the table.
“I’ve been wanting to come here since it opened, but… I never had anyone to bring,” I tried. My voice was shaking a bit.
“It seems like a nice place.” He looked around for a bit before settling those brown eyes on me again. “It’s my treat too. I was the one who said it was a date. And… I owe you.”
“You don’t owe me anything.”
“I do, Arlo. You didn’t have to take me in or be this nice to be me. Not after I… Not after everything.” He looked down at our hands and sighed. “Not a lot of people are this nice. So, let me be nice back.”
“Okay. I’ll let you be nice.” I smiled and he did too.
Slow jazz was playing on a comfortable volume. No one was loud, but there was a buzzing of conversations from other people in the restaurant. The lighting was a soft orange, and everything was just really pleasant and comfortable here.
And Dion looked so beautiful. The lights hit his cheekbone in the prettiest way. His hair was slightly ruffled, and he had done something to his horns, so they were more shiny than usual.
“It was nice of Achilleus to give us some days off. You have any plans?”
I mulled that over. “Maybe we should go on a trip?”
“Sure! I haven’t actually ever been on a trip before. Where would you go?” He smiled widely and shoved some green beans in his mouth.
“I don’t know. Maybe… Home?”
“Home?” He arched a brow at me.
“Yeah. My home.”
He dropped his fork with a clang and leaned back. “You want to take me to hades?”
I shrugged. “Maybe not then…” I muttered. “How about Mykonos? I hear it’s nice this time a year.”
“That sounds awesome. I’ve always wanted to visit the islands.”
“Then we’ll go.” I smiled widely.

I opened the door for Dion, and he slipped inside the flat. He turned and looked back at me after I had closed the door.
“I… Don’t want to wait,” he said and pulled me down before I could even think. He planted his lips on mine and pulled me towards the bedroom.
I didn’t get a chance to say no. He pushed me down on the bed and I welcomed him into my arms immediately. His lips were so soft, and I couldn’t stop myself. I didn’t even want to anymore.
His hands slipped down to the buttons on my shirt. I helped him get it off me and then I went for his jumper. But slowly. I zipped it down as I kissed him.
He pushed me down again and slipped both the jumper and then the shirt off. I looked up at him with wide eyes. He was so beautiful. Not as skinny as I had expected but slim. He smiled and his cheeks reddened.
I grabbed the back of his neck and got him down to me. “You’re so beautiful,” I murmured before I kissed him.
He moaned softly and ran his hands over my chest. I bit down on his lip, digging my fingers into his thighs. He was sitting on top of me and it wasn’t what I wanted. At all.
I shifted a little and got him in between my legs. He lifted up and looked a little baffled down at me.
“Really?”
I nodded and smiled. “Yeah.”
“I… Expected something different from you.” He cupped my cheek with his hand, his thumb smoothing over my skin.
“Why?” I snorted and shot him a grin, as I ran my hands over his ribs and then down to his jeans. He lifted up for me as I opened the button and pulled down the zipper.
“You’re just… Very large. And no one ever asks this of me.”
I winked at him, my head fogged with too much adrenaline and happiness to want to lecture him on bad stereotypes. Or talk at all.
“You don’t want to?”
“I definitely want to,” he said, his voice turning gruffer.
I slid both of my hands down his trousers, clenching his butt and pressing him down on me. He wasn’t even heavy, but the slight pressure his body created felt amazing. He just felt so great and I wanted him so badly.
He went for my trousers then, pulling them off me. He discarded his own too and lied down on top of me again.
“You’re definitely sure?” he asked softly and smiled down at me.
“Yeah, I’m sure.” I lifted my head up and kissed him as I reached into my bedside table and grabbed the essentials, putting them next to us.
Dion kissed me softly as his fingers worked me. I groaned into his mouth and dug my fingers into his back. He was hovering over me, watching me as I tried to not make a fool of myself.
As he got ready to take care of himself, I grabbed his wrists and stopped him.
“Let me,” I murmured and smiled up at him as I took him in my hand. He groaned and I felt his fingers clench in the pillow under my head.
He cursed under this breath, his hips moving with my hand. I lifted up and kissed him again, as I spread my legs further and pulled him closer.
He looked down and then up, making sure I was still on board. I nodded and smiled. He lowered himself and kissed me as he pushed his hips forward. I whimpered and dug my fingers into his back. I couldn’t keep my breath under control at all.
“Alright?” he whispered and kissed my cheek.
“Y-yeah,” I stammered and looked up at him. He smiled and started slowly pulling out. I inhaled sharply and before I even got to recover from the amazing feeling the frictions of his body were creating, he was pushing back in again.
It was overwhelming. I had done this before obviously, but never with someone like Dion. No one I actually liked like this. I wanted to curse and cry and laugh. All at the same time. I just wanted him to never stop moving. To never stop kissing me.
I moved under him too, my arms around him, pressing him to me. He kind of lost it. He grabbed my hair, pulling my head up. He kissed my neck before biting down on it, groaning against my skin.
He didn’t sound like when he was with patrons. This was real. It felt real. His voice was deeper, and he wasn’t as loud. And then he finished, jerking his hips hard.
He dumped down next to me and turned to lie on his side. “Sorry,” he panted. “Just give me a minute.”
“Dion, it was perfect,” I said and smiled, turning my head to the side. He kissed me softly, smiling against my lips.
He kept kissing me and then he slid back on top of me. He kissed me down my throat and then down my chest. I breathed in, my ribs almost poking through my skin. He placed a soft kiss on my stomach before he looked up and smiled. Then he wrapped his fingers around me before he took me in his mouth.
I groaned loudly, throwing my head back, grabbing the sheets, clenching my fingers around the fabric. He was a master at this. His mouth was incredibly soft and his tongue. Oh gods, his tongue.
I ran my hand through his hair, and he purred, rolling his shoulders, taking me to the base. I groaned again.
“Dion, I-I’m close.”
He looked up and smiled. Then he crawled up to my face and kissed me, finishing me with his hand. He placed one last kiss on my lips before going to the bathroom. I was way too exhausted to move. All I could do was lie there and stare at the ceiling.
Dion returned with a washcloth and cleaned up my stomach. It was warm and soothing, and he was kissing my chest as he cleaned me up. The washcloth was tossed aside, and he curled up to me, putting his head on my chest.
I pulled the covers up and covered us both with them. Dion made the most content and cute sound as he slung his leg over mine.
“You’re amazing, you know that?” he murmured.
“After this, I don’t think I can be the one who’s called amazing.” I placed a kiss on his head and his eyes closed momentarily.
“You are,” he whispered.
