(Elaina levitated up to the 8^th floor into Alvin’s office. She glided out the office into the hallway where the underground lab’s elevator was. She found Tevin sitting near Galvin’s body. Tevin coughed up blood as he saw Elaina kneeling in front of him.)

Tevin (struggling): Elaina… Everything… go well?

(Elaina nodded in response and with Dharkas’ power, healed Tevin’s internal wounds and his broken leg. Tevin took deep breaths; no longer tasting his blood. Elaina then used the de-chipper on Tevin; taking the chip out of the back of his head.)

Elaina: How do you feel, Tevin?

Tevin: Never been better.

Elaina: Good.

(Tevin was able to get up by himself and raised his brow at Elaina.)

Tevin: You have the power of the savior I see.

Elaina: Yeah. The others are waiting for us. You and I need to leave now. The TAC team is here. We’ll take the elevator to the first floor.

(Elaina and Tevin ran to the other elevator back the other way. They were able to reach it, but before Elaina could press the button, the elevator opened revealing a few TAC team soldiers. They drew their guns when they saw Elaina and Tevin; Elaina and Tevin put their hands up.)

TAC Soldier #1: Freeze! Stay right where you are and identify yourselves!

(Elaina and Tevin just looked at them and did not respond.)

TAC Soldier #2: Identify yourselves, or we will shoot!

Elaina: My name is Mrs. Elaina Stanley- Beckett I am the wife of one of MediCorp’s lead doctors and scientist, Alvin Beckett.

TAC Soldier #1: Who is the man with you?!

TAC Soldier #3: He’s a prisoner!

Elaina: This man is accompanying me! He is not a prisoner and is none of your concern!

TAC Soldier #3: Then who is he?!

TAC Soldier #2: Wait! Did you say you are Alvin Beckett’s wife?

Elaina: Yes.

TAC Soldier #2: Alvin Beckett is no longer one of MediCorp’s doctors nor scientists. He is now MediCorp’s property.

TAC Soldier #1: And since you’re here, you can quietly come with us, or we will neutralize both of you!

(Elaina sighs and puts her hands down along with her head; Tevin did as well but looked at Elaina; questioning quietly. As two of the TAC team soldiers walked towards them and touched Elaina’s arms, she opened her eyes; turning bloodshot red; her body surrounded by the black mist.)

Dharkas/Elaina: Big mistake.

(The black mist instantly spread and wrapped around the TAC team soldiers; slamming them into walls as they screamed in terror. As they were getting slaughtered by Dharkas, Elaina walked into the elevator with Tevin following her. She pressed the ‘1’ button; the elevator door closed. As the elevator went down, she began to think.)

Elaina: This creation helps me now, but from what Alvin had to go through with it and it latching on to Evee also, will it take me like it tried to take Alvin?

Dharkas: I don’t plan on killing you, nor your family. Not anymore.

(Elaina had a shocked look when she heard an inhuman voice coming from Dharkas. It chuckled.)

Dharkas: Surprised that I can speak? Consider me a gift for your family now and forevermore. Now, let’s continue having fun.

(The elevator reached the first floor. The elevator doors opened revealing many more TAC team soldiers on the floor. The members saw Elaina and Tevin, drawing their guns. Dharkas chuckled sinisterly in Elaina’s mind.)

Dharkas: May I rain hell upon the oppressors?

Elaina: Please, gladly do so.

(As Elaina and Tevin walked out the elevator, the soldiers opened fire on the two. The black misted figure emerged and protected Elaina and Tevin as they walked into the main hall. As the two reached the front door, Dharkas turned the main hall into more of a bloodbath than it already was. When Elaina walked out the front door and saw her car in sight, she grabbed Tevin’s hand and ran out the building. She was surprised to see it was morning; with the sunlight hurting her eyes and Tevin’s. They went through the gap in the gate Elaina previously went through when she arrived and made it to her car. Elaina took out her car keys from her pocket and unlocked the car, opened her driver side door, and started her car. She decided to wait for Alvin and the others before she could do anything else. Moments later, she saw a black SUV come from behind the building; seeing that it was Alvin’s. As the SUV reached Elaina’s car, it stopped, and Alvin got out of the car, taking Evee out as well and putting her down on the ground. Alvin looked down at Evee; Evee looked up at him.)

Alvin: You get in your mother’s car, Evee.

Evee: Will I see you again, Daddy?

Alvin: You will, my dear. I promise. Now get in the car.

(Evee opened the back door and got in the car’s backseat. Elaina looked at Alvin with a surprised look.)

Elaina: You didn’t tell me the shadow could speak.

Alvin: I didn’t know. It probably picked it up from me.

Elaina: Hmm. It told me that it decided to stay with us. It likes us, I guess it doesn’t want to kill us.

Alvin: Hmm…

(They heard crashing from the building as Dharkas was eradicating the TAC team soldiers. Alvin opened his back door revealing Parker holding the baby. Elaina went to her trunk to get Evee’s old car seat, setting it in the back seat for the baby. Alvin gave the baby to Elaina, and she set the baby in the car seat and covered the infant with her jacket. She then closed the door and looked at Alvin.)

Elaina: What are you going to do?

Alvin: I’ll send them to a behavioral center and take Tyler to his house and… whatever else I need to think of and make some phone calls. I’ll see you back in the city. You be safe getting back.

Elaina: You too, Alvin.

(The two kissed and embraced each other. They then heard more crashing in the building; they let go of each other.)

Alvin: You better get going.

Elaina: Yeah. See you later.

(Alvin signaled Tevin to get in the SUV as Alvin got in the driver seat and drove away. Elaina got in her driver seat, put the car in gear, and drove away from the building with Dharkas following as a black misted wind.)

-1 Month Later-

(Elaina, Alvin, and Tyler were inside of a dimly lit office with a man who was looking over the documents and typing on his desktop. After typing, he looked to Alvin and Elaina.)

???: Well… Everything is set. We’ve been able to cover the tracks. These documents help with you two and your children. Unfortunately, we can only keep you two incognito for so long. You as well, Mr. Walters.

Tyler: I understand that. Also, we have footage and other documents that can put MediCorp six feet under.

(Tyler held out a flash drive and gave it to the man. The man looked at it.)

???: If you’re willing to expose MediCorp with this, I’ll try as best as I can to keep you all hidden, but like I said, it’s up to you three to keep that up. You’ll be targets to them.

(Elaina, Alvin, and Tyler looked at each other, then to the man.)

Alvin: We can handle being targets, Ernie. We’ll be leaving the city soon.

Ernie: Good, Al.

Elaina: What about the patients?

Ernie: Amy will be getting out soon, but Yvette and Iyana will need further evaluation. Ali… her mind is gone… They don’t know if she’ll come back to her senses. Parker and Tevin must stay there until further notice.

Elaina: Alright.

(Ernie connected the flash drive to his desktop and saw the recordings during Elaina and Evee’s time at MediCorp along with the documents they found that were on his desk. Ernie sent the recordings and held the documents in his hands.)

Ernie: I’ll take these documents to the superiors. The recordings are sent. Now, you three watch your backs and good luck.

Alvin: Thank you, Ernie.

(Elaina, Alvin, and Tyler walked out the building; walking down the stairs to their vehicles; sunny morning. Tyler puts on his sunglasses and gets on his motorcycle; he looks to Elaina and Alvin.)

Tyler: You guys keep me posted when you want me to help move your stuff. I’m going to the facility.

Elaina: Alright, but you be careful.

(Tyler nodded, started his motorcycle, and drove off. Alvin and Elaina got in Alvin’s SUV with Evee watching TV and Alvino next to her in a car seat.

Evee: Mommy? Daddy?

Elaina: What is it, baby?

Evee: Did everything go okay?

Elaina: Yes, Evee. Everything went okay.

Evee: What’s going to happen to us now?

Alvin: We’ll be moving. Starting anew. Now, we want you to understand this, my dear. You mustn’t tell anyone your real name until it is safe to do so.

Evee: Just so the bad people won’t get us?

Alvin: Yes.

Evee: What is our new last name?

Elaina: Weston.

Evee: What’s my new name?

(Elaina and Alvin looked at each other.)

Alvin: We decided that would be up to you, little one.

(Evee began to think of a new name and immediately decided.)

Evee: Lyndi. Lyndi Weston. Can… Alvino still have his name?

Elaina: Yes. So… Lyndi Weston and Alvino Weston. Perfect.

Evee: What about you two?

Elaina: Lorraine Weston for now.

Evee: Yours, Daddy?

Alvin: Joseph. Joseph Weston.

Evee: Nice names. Joseph and Lorraine Weston. Where will we live?

Alvin: We’ll be living on the countryside; away from the city.

Evee: Okay. It sounds nice. Is… the ghost going to stay with us?

Elaina: Yes… and it will protect us… from whatever comes our way.

(Elaina’s phone rings; she answers it.)

Elaina: Hello?

Tyler (on phone): Hey. They released Amy. I’m getting her now.

Elaina: Alright. Also, we’ll need your help with the last of our things. We’ll call you when we get to our place.

Tyler (on phone): Alright. See you then.

(Elaina hung up the phone and looked to Alvin.)

Elaina: Ready to go?

Alvin: Yes, dear.

(Alvin started the SUV and drove away from the building. Dharkas began to hum in Elaina and Alvin’s ear.)

Dharkas: I swear to you both. Whatever leftovers of MediCorp come our way, the slaughter will be massive.

(Alvin and Elaina smirked and Dharkas’ remark.)

Elaina (in thought): I believe you.

Alvin (in thought): Understood.

(As the car drove on, Dharkas chuckled and resumed humming a tune.)
