In a land where magic has disappeared, the royal family holds the last artifact of the past- a magical tree who's golden apples can be melted into metal or consumed to gain great strength. However, a mysterious Firebird starts to appear, wreaking havoc on the tree treasured by the palace. One of the Palace Guards named Illya, a talented warrior with a habit of telling tall tales, convinces young prince Ivan that whoever captures the Firebird will have a wish granted....
