I'm a designer and Illustrator who works in the theme park industry. I love reading books, playing video games, and watching animated films/shows just as much as I like creating them!
Haha, thank you, I appreciate that! I think the story is just slow to start, and a little dark...Maybe that doesn't interest too many people. Hopefully over time it picks up. :)
Sorry guys! Took December off for vacation and had my main
PSD file corrupt. I've been using January to catch up and re-do all my lost work. Queuing things up, then back to our regularly scheduled program 😗
KRA KRA KRA! (Translation: Thank you very much for subscribing to RAVEN KING!)
PS: Oh you work in the theme park industry! One of my flatmates recently did a design pitch for a big theme park here in Germany :D I haven't explored that particular field of work yet though XD
WOW O__O really Universal Studios! Nice *high-five* :D
Oh boy oh boy, I better work hard on that comic because you're gonna look at it with a pro's eagle eye ;p *feels the preassure*
But I do have a gut feeling that things about my art career are going to change for the better *heavy breath* Or it's just the chocolate-high talkin' XDDD
Woot! *high-five* But nonono plz, I'm a total noob when it comes to comics. So slowwww. Lol. Going to try very very hard to keep up with my bi-weekly update schedule. Plus your ink work is already leagues ahead of mine. XDDD
I love it when people tell me I have good ink work, when in fact I use the lasso tool 95% of the time XD I'm really aweful at inking (it looks like a chicken scratched the paper in trance until it passed out of exhaustion)! the thing is people at conventions don't get that inking with a pen and drawing with the lasso tool as if it was a woodcut are two very different things O__O and then they want me to draw live at the con for them *panic attack*
I need a Wacom Companion so I can use the lasso tool for a presketch and then trace it on paper XD Money, where you at? Come to mama muihihihi *lures*
About your schedule: My one and only advice >> You should have a biiiiig buffer of finished pages O__O BIG BUFFER!
Hahahaha, DAYUM. Could have fooled me. Me using the lasso tool just gives me shaky as hell lines/shapes (I have THE shakiest hands I swear). Extra major props to you then for nice, clean lasso shapes!
LOL I use references a lot so live drawing for people is also a scary idea to me XDDD And yup! working on that buffer right now. Currently 12 pages in!
yeah, the lasso surprises most people XD
and good good! work that buffer XD (PS: I'm not a native speaker so if at some point something I say seems strange, you know why... like "work that buffer" XD)
puh, I need to go to bed now. tomorrow I'm off to Germany's biggest book fair °~° it's gonna be a looooooooooong day of traveling, walking, sweating, showing portfolios, sweating some more and traveling back =_=
C ya ;)
