Hi folks! Just a quick update. I will be attending San Diego Comic Con this year and signing copies of HELM Book 1: Harbinger at the Action Lab booth (Booth 1737). Come see me between 12:00-1:00 PM on Saturday and Sunday.
It's been a while but HELM is finally back! Visit us at www.crookshaw.com to learn more and start reading our new pages. We'll be posting them here on Tapas too, but on a delayed schedule.
Hi everyone! For what it may be worth, we're finally up on Patreon. You can check us out at http://www.patreon.com/crookshaw. At the moment, it's looking like HELM will be back in early May.
Hello readers! We just posted an update on the status of the next chapter of HELM (which is shaping up to be the best one yet!). You can read it here: http://www.crookshaw.com/blog/2018/1/15/helm-progress-report
Today (by midnight PDT) is the last day you can vote for comics nominated in the upcoming Eisner Awards. HELM is a nominee in the Digital Comics category (the last category listed on the 5th page). We'd really appreciate your vote at http://www.eisnervote.com/.
NOTE: To make things simple, you aren't required to vote for every category. Just the categories you want to vote for.
In other news, the Comics Alternative podcast reviewed HELM and a few other webcomics nominated for Eisner Awards at http://comicsalternative.com/webcomics-reviews-of-the-2017-eisner-award-nominees/. It's a long episode but definitely worth a listen. They begin discussing HELM at ~58 minutes in.
I recently joined Anne Szabla of Bird Boy on an episode of the SpiderForest Podcast. Listen to the full interview by going here: http://www.spiderforest.com/podcast/special-episode/
I'm not sure if you've heard already, but HELM was nominated for an Eisner Award in the Best Digital Comic category. A couple of us will be going to Comic Con in San Diego this July to attend the ceremony.
While simply being nominated is such a huge honor enough for us, it would be really nice to win. ;)
If you're eligible to vote (and if you create a web comic, that means you are), you can vote for us by visiting www.eisnervote.com. If you can't vote, you can still help us by spreading the word about our comic. :)
Comic Book & Movie Reviews recently interviewed us on a variety of topics related to HELM... and asked some very interesting questions! You can read the full interview here:
