Idea 3: This guy is barely noticed by anyone in school and usually is bullied, but this ghost who haunts the school decides to scare the heckers out of the bullies when they pick on the guy, and now everyone thinks this guy has supernatural powers.
Idea 2: Aliens are attacking Earth to claim it as their own. They had everything ready. They just didn't think the old gods would return.
