I thought a lot about whether or not I should post this, and if so, what I should say. I'm still not entirely surefooted about it, but I'd rather say something than nothing at all.
I promise none of the other developmental notes are this tragic.
Y'know a fella had come into my work looking for us to make a little memorial card for his wife. He had us put a quote saying "do not grieve this woman's passing but be thankful that she was alive" (or something to that effect; I don't remember the exact wording).
I'd say having a character's position in a narrative influenced by how someone close to you influenced your own life is a good way to honor that person having been alive.
I think, as long as it doesn't hurt someone else, choosing to speak up about something you believe in is always right. Thank you for sharing this tribute.
I AM LIVING. But I'm also moving! Across an ocean AHAHAH what.
The move will be done August 4 so I'll be more active again after that. -u- Apologies </3
