Hello.
I spend most of my time drawing.
When something is done I usually upload it on the web.
It is all very real stuff.
Thank you for visiting!
Tools
My favourite tool is the G-Pen Zebra nib and a Tachikawa holder that I cut down a bit to make it more precise. I use it for everything inside the panels. For the borders I like to use a Hunt 513. On bigger single drawings I often use Micron pens and Sharpie markers. For sketching I like to use short mechanical pencils.
Hello there.
I don't visit this page very often these days. And it has been a very long time since I uploaded anything. If anyone for some reason happens to wonder why here is the reason. I used to have a lot more content here but during the last 2 years I have deleted all of my main projects. The reason is that I am now focusing on physical books. And I have gotten a deal with a Norwegian publisher. I don't think it is fair to have everything uploaded here when they have accepted to actually publish my books. Most of my digital activity has moved to instagram (@squidology.ink) and my website (thomasfallaeriksen.com). If anyone who has read my comics here sees this I would like to say thank you very much for spending some of your time on my works. I am constantly making new stuff but using other channels to reach my audience. Maybe I will start posting here again. Or maybe not. Time will show.
Until then I want to say thank you everyone. And good bye.
Your art style is incredible. I'd really love to see an actual traditional narrative set in one of your meticulously crafted visual universes. Do you ever plan on doing one eventually?
Hello and sorry for the insanely late reply. I rarely visit this site these days. And thank you for the nice words. I have released 3 books with a Norwegian publisher that are built up more like traditional comics. They are called Squidologi, Hexagon and Den fjerde veggen (Norwegian for "the fourth wall"). I have several other projects that I am working on. One is a surreal but still traditional science fiction story that will be finished next year. Another one is about old Volkswagens. I also have a few unreleased projects that is very similar to the black and white projects I have posted here, but they are much more readable.
I am in the process of self publishing one of them right now. My Al Khemet series will also get a physical release through my publisher Jippi Comics later this year.
These days I am focusing more on physical releases so I don't think any of them will be available here.
But I post updates all the time at instagram (@squidology.ink) and less frequently on my website thomasfallaeriksen.com
My new book is coming on November 2nd. It contains 180 pages with tentacles, crystals, pyramids, old cars, angry old men, pretty girls and reptilians

Hello hello.
Is anyone out there in Norway?
Oslo Comics Expo is happening this weekend. A bunch of great artists will be there. I will also be there with my newly released book. Will you?
Hello again. I have some big news (at least they are big for me):
I'm releasing my very first book!
It is called "Den fjerde veggen" ("The fourth wall" in English), and is released through the Norwegian publisher Jippi comics (the book is written in Norwegian). In short it is a meta/scifi story that deals with genres and the relationship between creator and content.
It contains 76 pages, and is available for pre order through the publishers website now.

Thank you very much. Drawing is what I do most of the time. And it is probably the only thing I know how to do properly. I have plans for lots of more things both online and out in the real world. So a good amount of luck is very much needed.
Hello there.
Its been a long time but things have been happening behind the stage. As the picture says, on the 2nd of December I will start publishing the 5th chapter in the Squidology series which will be called "Inside". The whole chapter is 50 pages long and I will post 5 of them every Friday until the 3rd of February.
I always try to add something new or take it in a different direction with every chapter. This time I've also tried to put in a few "eastereggs". Hopefully it will be entertaining for everyone who happens to read it. I feel good about it. In a weird way.
