Surprise update weirdos,
Surprise because I completely forgot to tell you. Today my secret project, Lady Sylvia's Studio, drops and I dip my toe into the transmigration romance genre in my own strange way.
I'll admit it, my secret vice is the girl from another world stories but being I never really found the love interests I was looking for: monsters. Why are all the male leads men and human or worse elves or demons with pointy ears and nothing else? Where are my swoon worthy scaly, multi-armed, fur-covered, and/or 7ft tall romantic interests?
So after years of waiting I decided to write my own and use the opportunity to make fun of both the genre and myself.
Check it out if you want to see me struggle through a non-horror story.
Special thanks to Alias https://tapas.io/JesseRose for making the cover.
Happy Inksgiving weirdos,
With a final total of 5,100 ink I will release onto you an early chapter of Bloody Brick Road!
Thank you all for your support, comments, and likes, it really means a lot to us authors to know you enjoy our stories.
May you all have a safe and strange holiday season, farewell till next year!
Just a quick Inksgiving update.
I've looked at what other novelists are doing and I think I found some stuff that will work. Here's my Inksgiving goals assuming I figure out how to set it up.
5,000 ink- Early episode release of Blood Brick Road
10,000 ink- Character Q&A (or Author depending on the questions)
20,000 ink- Sneak peak/early release of upcoming project (I've been working on something without telling you...and outside my usual genres too!)
If we make it up to 50,000 I have no ideas what to give you lovely lunatics (maybe commission some) character art for bios or something. I'm looking forward to supporting my favorite creators and hope you are as well.
Remember to check in on your demons and hug your closet monster this holiday season, they're been missing you.
Hello, hello freaks and geeks,
I hope you all had a happy Halloween and are sleeping off your sugar comas peacefully.
Inksgiving is upon us again and after the wonderful turnout I received last year I wanted to ask if there were any rewards you would want should we reach a certain amount.
I didn't set goals last time but I'd like to try this year but have no idea what to offer in return.
Character Q&A, bonus chapters, crossover event...?
I figure the readers would know what they want more than I would. If you have any suggestions or if you're interested in doing Inksgiving goals leave a comment.
Sending love and nightmares and stay twisted!
Such conflicting emotions my weirdos,
For today Rats Teeth ends but Bloody Brick Road begins. I'm both excited for those who will read my new book and terrified of those who are finishing the old (writing endings are the worst!)
We'll be releasing new episodes every day this week before switching to our traditional one episode a week schedule. I've changed up the style a bit for this one so seven chapters should be enough for you to decide if its for you or not.
I hope you all have a horrifying October and a sugar filled Halloween!
May your days be scary and dark!
Alright everyone we're two chapters away from the end of Rats Teeth.
While we mourn (or celebrate) the temporary loss of our beloved monsters, I'm pleased to announce Bloody Brick Road will drop on October 9th. This will be an independent novel so Mr. Graves and co. can take a much needed rest. Now we step into a new hellscape, a nightmare version of the kingdom of Oz. Join newly minted Agent Dorthy Gale as she struggles to survive this alien world and unravel the mysteries of her past. This isn't Judy Garland's Dorothy, our leading lady is full of quills, teeth, and darkness and her companions are equally monstrous.
Enjoy twisted takes on characters from both the classic movie and the children's book series. We're off to kill the wizard and it's going to get bloody.
Special thanks to Alias https://tapas.io/JesseRose for creating this incredible cover and portrait of Dorothy!
Good news my weirdos!
I just finished binge writing the last chapter of Rats Teeth and we clocked in at 52. Math hurts my history degreed brain that's about late summer early fall for the ending. By that time I hope to have my next project up and running.
Our next book will be a step away from the Prometheus Reanimated series both novel and short stories. Mr. Graves and co. are on hiatus but there are more horrifying adventures to come (as soon as I figure out what they are;).
In the meantime I hope you enjoy our next book: Bloody Brick Road, our first dive into the action genre but still a twisted take on an old story. If you want a messed up romp through the Land of Oz stay tuned for more!
Keep it weird and scary freaks!
