I'm looking for beta readers for a new novella I'm writing. It's in the BL genre, but darker than Serafin's Ghost in theme. If you're someone who's interested in my work and wants to read it and give feedback in exchange for a free signed copy when I release it later this year, here's my email:

Info on the novel:
It's set in the same world as Serafin's Ghost and Demetori.
It's BL, and the main characters are in their 30s and 40s.
A lot of worldbuilding is involved. Fantasy world.
It's about a group of people going to explore an island that hundreds of years ago was flooded and has only been rediscovered in the past century.
A book cover is currently in the works and I'm considering pitching it to Tapas.
Hey friends! Just a small update! Demetori -- a book set in Witherbless (same as Serafin's Ghost) is being published February 15th!!
Demetori used to be on this platform, it was actually the first novel I put up on here, but I took it down as it wasn't of a quality I liked. Since then it's undergone multiple rewrites and revisions. I can now finally say that I'm proud of it. The interior is stunning and the cover and wrap for it look amazing! At some point this year I'll be redoing Serafin's Ghost's packaging to make it similar in quality to what I've done with Demetori -- that includes a few chapter rewrites, and additional content.
I'll post more on all this soon. Feel free to follow me on twitter for updates @dubhalonus.
I've removed Demetori from Tapas ahead of it's physical release in a few months. As I said before, I just wasn't happy with the state it was in on here. I started the book when I was seventeen and it very much has showed its age. I'm currently about half way through editing and I've added over ten-thousand words. I have a strong feeling I'll end up adding twenty-thousand more before the editing is finished. Funnily enough, the sequel to it is half way done too. Basically, I've gotten much better at writing so having old stuff up publicly makes me cringe a little bit.
The ebook/physical release will be something I actually feel proud to publish and I hope you guys will support that.
Here's a link to my Amazon, keep an eye on it for the release in a few months: https://www.amazon.co.uk/Josh-Hunt/e/B09Y2MZ6J1?ref=sr_ntt_srch_lnk_1&qid=1664054512&sr=8-1
Hi guys! The edited ebook for Serafin's Ghost is currently free on Amazon for the first week of Pride Month! If you want the book for free on your kindle, now's the time!
I'm currently going through revisions for Demetori for physical release, it's getting changed a LOT and is turning into quite the project. Due to that, I'll be taking the project off the site at the end of June for the foreseeable future. I know this sucks for those of you still reading so I hope that if you guys have a few weeks you'll have time to finish it.
Serafin's Ghost is now an ebook!
Over the last few months, I've been going over the book to make it a bit more fleshed out and polished. The book releases on the 30th for both ebook and paperback!
Logged on to see that Demetori was featured on the front page! Welcome, all the new subs, I'm not as active here as I used to be but I still check in every few weeks!
For all the new people, I have two main series'. Demetori: a dark fantasy novel about revenge filled to the brim with mage battles, drama, and action.
And set in the same world is Serafin's Ghost: a BL Fantasy Romance about a mage who falls in love with the ghost haunting his house.
Minor life update but I'm still working on the sequel to Demetori.
I very much plan on coming back to this platform. Random life update but I'm actually doing my Masters in Publishing right now and a big thing I'm researching is online serialised fiction so Tapas really acts as a cornerstone of that research.
Hey everyone! I've gotten a tonne of new Subscribers of late and I thought it might be a good idea to introduce myself to all of you who might not know who I am or what I do!
First of all: welcome!
I'm Josh, I'm a writer from the UK and I've been on Tapas for a year and a bit. I've always been super into writing online, if any of you guys used Figment back when that was an actual site you might remember me (shadowjosh - I was 11 please understand I thought it was cool). Basically, I write a lot and have been writing for a while.
Over the years I've written quite a few novels but hated most of them. However, the ones on Tapas are ones I actually feel proud of and I wanted to make sure you guys understand what I'm doing now and what I'll be doing throughout the year, as Serafin's Ghost is in its last quarter and will probably be scheduled to end in about two months.
It's been such a journey writing it and I didn't expect the number of subs I've gotten on it for a book that essentially I started because I was joking about how awful it is as a gay person to constantly read about gay death in books so my solution was to create a couple that can't be killed because one or two of them are already ghosts.
For people reading Serafin's Ghost who want to read more BL - Don't worry! I'm currently working on another book set in the same universe with a huge cast of all LGBTQ+ characters. If you're impatient, please just go read books like (actually just go read this stuff anyway it's all amazing):
"Rise in the East" and "Give In to Me" by Fox
"The Saint George Chronicles" by M.L. Eaden
If you're liking Serafin's Ghost, and love the world-building involved, I'm sure you'll love my other novel: Demetori -- it's set in the same world.
