Chapter 1 - Page 2 is now available of Lockhart! We're working to bust out new pages faster. These pages will be more amazing and with a more amazing storyline. Please enjoy! And thank you for your patience with us!
Hello new and old subscribers! You are all very awesome and very patient with us.
Lockhart, as we mentioned before, is being revamped with a new style and new storyline. We both felt this was a positive move for Lockhart and we appreciate your patience with us so far.
Today, we uploaded the first of many wonderfully updated pages to come in the future. We both hope you enjoy the new series and we will see you around!
Lockhart is a web-comic I write and is illustrated by Sarah Arrowsmith. Lockhart is a hybrid fantasy/steam-punk action/adventure web-comic that focuses on several themes such as identity, friendship, courage, and more.
Originally, the web-comic ran on Tapastic for a short period but due to life-changes and other circumstances, the web-comic came to a halt. It is due for a continuation but we both felt it best to revamp the series all together. Lockhart is poised to start publication around mid-June with a new story. Our hope is the current fans of the series will still love it if not love it more for what it becomes.
Sarah writes and illustrates Goblins of Razard, also on Tapastic.com.
On a note of honesty while still on it, I decided to rewrite the series based on learning new writing strategies and how to better formulate both a point list as well as a script. In the manner of storytelling, learned much from delving in to the scripts published by well-established creators such as Matt Hawkins, Jim Zub, Andy Diggle, and more.
I’m looking forward to running a new Lockhart story. My wish is to keep a positive flow rather than abandoning ship only to return to what is practically a metaphorical ghost ship.
I'm back with another update for ya. Today we updated "Lockhart" page one. It's now a colored page so I hope you enjoy it. Lady Arrowsmith did an absolutely wonderful job with the colors!
We are slowly but surely returning to the fray as life is starting to settle down a little bit. My Wife and I are moving into our first house next week and we've been having to take care of that. Lady Arrowsmith and her husband are also in the process of moving into a new house as well. As you can imagine, we're both pretty tired from our regular full-time day jobs, packing and moving as well as rewriting parts of Lockhart and new illustrations by Lady Arrowsmith. So please bare with us as we're almost at that finish line and we will be bringing you all amazing new content.
Furthermore, I'm developing another series called "Riverwood". It's a bit like a Supernatural thriller that will be debuting in February 2017. Look out for character bios and cover art in the meantime.
Hello everyone and Happy New Year! Hope your 2016 was a fruitful one. Man, there has been so much that has happened throughout 2016: Love, loss, anger, hatred and more. We lost quite the number of wonderful celebrities that had inspired us to be who we are today.
Listen, I'm so very sorry there hasn't been any news on Lockhart or any updates since, what, August/September? and you've all been patiently waiting for news. Long story short: Life got in the way. SO MUCH had taken place that left me mentally, physically, and financially vulnerable [Creating Comics Isn't Cheap (but other life bits got in the way as well)].
Now that it is 2017, a brand new year, Sarah and I hope for more and wonderful new content in the near future. We personally ask you all to be patient with us for a little while longer. And I promise you, it'll be worth the wait.
Our 2017 goals are to increase our fan-base, create more relatable content, and much more. Hell, losing weight is actually part of my long list of New Year's Resolutions. Again, it's not much longer you all have to wait. I promise we will be better and we will provide much better content.
Thank you all! Look forward to hearing from you soon.
