Yes, I've been Missing in Action on Tapas this year. It's been an odd, chaotic year, with most of my time spent on a side venture with my gaming possee, Ramstar Games, getting that established as a real business.
I hope everyone had a fantastic Inktober. I missed out this year because Ramstar Games attempted two D&D-Inspired Enamel Pin Kickstarter campaigns. The first one, which ran earier in the year, funded at 92%. Ooh, so close! The second one, which recently ended, fully funded AND reached both stretch goals, so yay there!
Also, we began setting up a Ramstar Games Etsy shop, and now I'm looking for full time work or freelance work; honestly, anything that will help pay the bills.
So yeah, life's a bit up in the air at the moment. Writing has been sparse, but I'm hoping to get back into a regular writing discipline come the new year. Quite a few projects are waiting for me to finish them. :)
Wishing everyone a wonderful winter festivities this year.
All the best,
Hi KitD!
You're so kind!
We are creating long stories
If you'd like to read our series and subscribe our series, we really appreciate, and this is our series : https://tapas.io/series/Grave-of-memories
Hi Bold Toon,
My apologies for the late reply. I've been absent on Tapas for a while due to other projects. It's been a long tough year. Thanks for the link. Love the title!
It has been almost 5 months since I've posted an update. I hope everyone is well. It feels good to surface from doing a lot of work, most of it on a board game I'm helping to develop. My board game crew just attempted our first Kickstarter to raise the money to get our game manufactured, but it didn't work out. We aren't done yet. We have another strategy in mind to help us get to our next Kickstarter. It. Will. Happen.
I have resumed writing daily and am working on a number of projects at the same time. Once they are drafted, I'm considering developing serial, which will appear exclusively on Tapas as I write it.
I haven't decided on what project to commit to this, but as soon as I do and have started developing it, I'll let you know.
Be sure to drop me a comment to let me know how you're doing! :)
I never thought I'd see the day when I'd post my last update to The Forgotten Gemstone, but it has happened. I've marked the project complete. Accomplishment achieved!
I look forward to publishing other projects here, so I hope you'll stay subscribed to receive messages about that.
It's quiet here. I haven't gotten anywhere near reaching my goal, but I didn't expect to. I've only give away on short story and a couple of images. Ah well!
Thanks to the few of you for taking an interest in my updates. It's deeply appreciated. Now that I've given the rest of my ink away, I think I'm going to call it a day.
Well, after finally getting a decent night's sleep, I awake to realize there's a typo in my thank you image for readers who've supported me. <face palm> It's fixed now. :)
A couple more updates today to the project, and then I'm going to mark this webnovel COMPLETE. I do have a novella that I'm working on that is set in the Xiinisi storyverse, which I hope to start writing in the next couple of weeks. I will start a new project for that.
And thanks to those of you who are new subs. I appreciate you checking out what I have to offer.
I'm finally here. Yesterday was a looong day, and after sleeping in this morning, I awoke to find that Tapas had met their first milestone. Also, many thanks to FaisalHussein for being my first supporter. Your rewards will be sent to you as soon I finish this message. Next, I'll be giving away some ink, followed by preparing and publishing the next update.
Due to technical difficulties uploading a map of Sondshor this afternoon, I'm behind with scheduling my updates. I will be on top of it tomorrow, so look for new content coming then. I'll be offline tonight, but expect me around all day Saturday and Sunday. I will answer your messages first thing tomorrow.
Inksgiving is almost here! I've got giveaways and updates coming. I also have ink to giveaway. This year, I'm being ambitious with my goals, rewards and giveaways. So here it goes:

I will be hanging out on Tapas during Inksgiving, catching up on reading. Looking forward to seeing Tapas meet their milestone goals.
Inksgiving is coming up, and I'll be hanging out on Tapas for that weekend, reconnecting with fellow Tapas writers and creators. I have ink to give away and will be posting some updates to The Forgotten Gemstone that will include a map and character promos. I will also have special gifts for anyone who donates Ink to my account. Looking forward to spending some ink too.
OMG! These past few months have been a blur. I've come to the realization that I've bitten off more than I can chew when it comes to my writing and publishing goals, and other projects, like the game I've been involved in developing these past few months. We'll be kickstarting that through the end of October and into Novembers, so I'm in a mad rush to finish publishing a couple of novellas, writing a few short stories, and wrapping up a marketing course I'm taking.
I'll do my best to be around during Inktober to spread the ink around. And once the Kickstarter is over, I'll be back to make good on the extras I promised a while ago, as well as upload some of those short stories I'm working on.
